It was a random night when Viktoria got the news of her parents death. The memory of her reflection staring back at her when she opens up a box that had her parents severed fingers in it. The world goes slow as she hears her heartbeat grow rapidly. Thoughts sporadic on how this could have happened, who this “K” sibling she has is, and and and-. The thoughts stopped as her mind was spinning, unraveling until suddenly, nothing. The heartbeat of her own heart was rapid, sounding like the beating of war drums announcing the march to the battlefield.

Next she knew she was being arrested while some random woman lay on the ground beside her. Did she kill her? Her eyes glance over and see the woman being tended to, the wounds shallow from what she can gleam. She still held back even when not having the full consciousness of what she was doing. Her heartbeat is the only thing really coming to her ears to hear. Ba dum ba dum ba dum ba dum, badumbadumbadum. She manages to hide a weapon and her lockpicks on her person even with the guards search. How bad they are at their job.

Chained to a post like an animal, guards blocking her view constantly. They question her and the others who were there. Apparently she tried to kill this woman. If only these guards knew. There was no real attempt, or else there would have been a body and no one the wiser. However, deciding not to break out gives her time to think. She’s been showing a front as she learns of this place, and each thing she learns tears away at the capability to uphold the façade. One by one, she remembers each moment, each slight, “Odera” being saved in the cave, only to be thrown away after. Flash of her parents' limbs. The “guild” being run by moronic, pathetic children, and adults who are just as ill mentally. Her reflection in the jewelry box. Her attempts to help others upset, never one to be the best at, but her attempts were there but constantly rejected. Her respectful addressing of the towns people even though none of them deserve it, smashed down.

While she was waiting, having mundane conversations with those who passed her while she was on display, her mind was going over the last memories she had of her parents. Vaguely aware of her speech towards the ones speaking back at her. The guard captain eventually came and put some “curse” of a penance on her, before saying she can go free. Upon the shackles being unlocked, Viktoria would glance at the guards around and for some reason Hazel. Her eyes narrow as she takes in a deep inhale, then exhales as she leaves. She has a mission to complete now. Her heartbeat no longer beats like a heavy drum, but instead. .

Viktoria is rarely seen within the town walls, if at all. Those who do happen to ever spot the Korami, her eyes never see you, only ever looking beyond.
