Read the following prompt:

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

—Bracchus was lurched forward, attempting to find torpor, the state of hibernation of the Giants, however the cacophony of hoofbeats was making it an impossible task, be it his Nua Sidhe ancestry or his unfamiliarity for such loud environments, he did not know... He shook his head and began to speak with the lady, straightening his back and aggrandizing himself, even though this was just a kindly, elder woman. "Yes, it's the first time." He cringed at the answer, was being so literal appropiate? No, he would not turn soft as the others of his clan had, he continues, "I've lived too long among the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, need myself something more... exciting." He would not delve deeper into his experience among the stonerunners.

To the halfbreed's dismay, this woman kept interest in him, asking more details of him. He wondered if everyone in the Reach had such a prying attitude. "My Father was always seeking adventure, a travelling Jack, he was." the woman questioned him about his father, "Oh he's not dead, I don't think." He scratched his hairless chin, "He just went his own way, he came to visit Ma some years back, last I knew of him, he had gone far west." It was not hard to get him to talk, the woman noticed, as Bracchus had already given away his name, his insecurities about his lack of tusks, and his tricks for proper log-throwing. Overall, his first attempt to keep to himself in these strange lands had been a total failure.

Once the destination was reached, and the two said goodbye, they parted ways. In his way, Bracchus began to notice what he had done, this woman must've been a witch! how else would she have penetrated past his social defenses so easily? Proud in his convenient assumption, he kept on walking to this new land, following the sight of the gigantic Spire.

Brief Physical Description: Bracchus stands at 240 metres (7'10), his skin a pale gray, with catlike yellow eyes framed by messy, wavy black locks around his face. He wears only patched pants and worn boots, with a large dark-red leather belt adorned with a bronze buckle. From this belt hangs, up to his knees, a torn brown tartan-patterned cloth, seemingly salvaged out of a larger piece and crudely put below the girdle. Made out of the same leather as the belt, two bracers cover his forearms. Finally, along his bare upper body lays the pelt of a beast, fastened into a cloak along his shoulders.
