The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"My mother, ya, she brought my from far away when I was but a wee lad. Not that I grown much since, but she always said I'd grow up, one day. We Falstoners, us, but my ma said all Falstoners is different, as is everyone else from everywhere. We all different in our own ways and tha's why I here. I been traveling for much of my life, so this ain't exactly my first time. Jus' hard to leave an old life behind and start anew so often, ya know? 'S hard to be homesick with no home... My ma also said not to talk to strangers, but ye've got a good look about ya so I s'pose I can tell ya my name. Giltwart Moogan's my name and I do a bit o' everythin'. Music, crafts, arts - all sorts'a tings. Can even handle m'self in a scuffle if need be. Reminds me, we passin' Albern soon, no? I got a friend.. well, rival o'sorts in Albern, owes my for a black eye couple'a years ago over a pint.. what? D'ya think my a child? I may not look it but my lived 32 winters already! I just like a clean shave and to keep my hair short, helps my git away if I get inta trouble. Speakin' o' trouble.. think that lil' tyke o'er there's givin' my some dirty looks.. mayhaps I can give 'im a talkin' to-oh no, is that his brotha? Look away, look away! I don' pick fights with them greatlings.. their size don't exactly give my a fightin' chance."

Brief Physical Description: A short and slightly stout man with short auburn hair and a clean shaven face. A couple of reddish feathers can be seen sticking out around the neck from under his vest, layered with sashes and belts full of various seemingly useless trinkets. His eyes, a burnt sienna, dart about with mischievous intent, and he has an overall quickness about him. Poking out of his vest pocket is a fine locket on a silver chain... hey, doesn't that locket look kind-of familiar- watch out! He's trying to run off with it!
