Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? The Arsa Sidhe would look up, having been staring at the floor of the wagon—the way the woods grooves were shaped, and the dirt that tried to fill those same grooves intrigued him. His Golden yellow eyes studied the woman a bit, the way her grin crinkled her face; Then, he registered the question, simply shuffling his feet in anxiety, and pulling his small medical bag closer to him, "Yes... It is my first time traveling a great distance," he shifted slightly, trying to put a little more distance between him and her, feeling the wagon wobble a bit more as if the further back he was the worse off he was. "I plan on going to Ko'ram," he tells the woman briefly before expanding a bit more on it "Because there are a greater number of my kind there, so I believe I would fit in better than anywhere else," he said with a nod looking around at the scenery, then back at the older woman. "I also would love to see Sharuul, since it is nicknamed 'Land of the Golden Mountain', I want to see if the grass is truly golden looking or if it has that hue due to how the sun hits it. And I guess trying some of the cheese from there would be spectacular. I will be walking very west, yes?" he asked himself, "where it will be rocky," he added onto his own question with another nod, trying to convince himself that he knew the way. He looked at the woman who seemed to have a tilted head before quickly adding, "Of course I would know the way, Ma'am. My people were the first intelligent life," he giggled in ego as he thought of more things to say to this woman who seemed to be wanting more of a story than just where he was going... she did ask why, didn't she? Though he also remembered giving a why, just maybe not the best why. Did he even introduce himself? "Oh... um... I guess I should introduce myself, it was rude of me not to," he said with a nervous breath before offering his hand, "Maxilia Savant-Cupiditatem, but many call me Max as a nickname." he said with a nod, "An Arsa Sidhe who also happens to be a medic. I was born in Vernus during Greenrain, so that means I'm under the third sign: The Lantern. My mother always told me that I would be Intuitive, or have a good perspective on things, because I was 'born under the lantern's light'? I think is how she ended that," he thought a bit more about this now that he brought it up. 'Born under the Lantern's Light,' he thought, wondering if that had more of a special meaning or if that was simply what people said. "what is your name mi-" he stopped himself abruptly as he looked towards the older woman who was now sleeping, guessing he had put her to sleep from talking, or perhaps he was simply thinking for so long about what 'Under the Lantern's Light' meant that it was her nap time.
