I go by Nox. I've been roleplaying for about 11 years now. Both text and voice. Im a dungeon master and love DND. And i aspire to voice act sometime.
In-Character Response
Cidolfus doesn’t look up at first. Just finishes lighting whatever’s left of his cigarette, leans back into the wagon bench, and lets the silence drag a bit longer than it should. When he does speak, his voice is low and a little rough, like it’s used to shouting over battlefields or arguing with ghosts.
“…I’ve seen too many banners fall to care much for where I end up.”
He lets that hang in the air a second, eyes flicking over the plains. The Southern Reach stretches out ahead — too open, too clean. Doesn't trust land that looks untouched.
“I heard about the Spire. Figured it’s the kind of place a man can disappear in without having to explain too much.” He taps ash from his smoke and finally glances at the woman, more tired than rude. “Used to be someone. Wore a crest, gave orders, fought for something that doesn’t exist anymore. The place I’m from’s not even on the maps now. Close enough to the Wall to count, but far enough no one really gave a damn when it all came crashing down.”
He shrugs like it doesn’t bother him. Like it’s ancient history. It’s not.
“Figured if I’m gonna rot somewhere, it might as well be where the world’s still spinning. Rulan’s still building, Spire-town’s got life in it. Maybe even a fight or two worth havin’. And if not... hell. Still better than sitting in the Faded Steppe waiting for the dirt to swallow me.”
He leans back again, flicks the butt of his smoke off the wagon.
“Anyway. That’s why I’m here. Don’t ask me about the rest. You won’t get much.”

Brief Physical Description:
Cidolfus is broad-shouldered, weathered, and carries the weight of someone who’s buried too many people to still believe in glory. He’s got short, swept-back hair — mostly grey with dark roots — and a thick beard rough around the jawline. Usually found with a cigarette between his fingers and a half-torn coat slung over his back. Scars along his hands and collar suggest a life spent in the wrong kind of service. He doesn’t talk much, and when he does, it’s clipped and dry, like someone who stopped wasting breath a long time ago.
