Although I've never done Minecraft RP, I've done a lot of other RP on D&D, Arma, FiveM, RedM, Conan, and other games. I'm excited to try out a little Minecraft RP as I've always enjoyed Minecraft and the idea of adding RP to it sounds like fun.

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)?
Thoren's eyes scan the swaying grass of the plains as the wagon creaks forward. He glances up, evaluating the elderly woman with her kind eyes and warm curiosity before shifting in his seat,
"Nervous? Not so much, but I have my reasons for coming..."
His eyes look back out on the plains of the Southern Reach, his voice that of a man who doesn't speak without meaning what he says.
"I grew up in the Duchy of Rulan. Out near where the cotton fields fell beneath the shadows of the Wall. My family and blood are..." He pauses. "Were, Farmers. Stubborn folk who never gave up even when the going got tough. Well, at least until they passed. "
He rubs a bit of scruff on his chin, glancing back at her with a quiet tone.
"When work and coin were hard to come by, I'd do what I could. Sometimes I'd join the Wall Guard like most of the Rulani men. Other times? I'd help the walljacks and provide an extra sword for the goods they brought out to the Falstoners. I'm always surprised when I meet a Fey-Touched, interesting people they are. Never was able to get on one of the Walljacks caravans headed for the Spire... unfortunately. These days, the Duchy isn't as much as it used to be, so I had to make a decision... and that's why I'm here. To earn coin, buy land. Plant something that's actually mine for once."
Once more, he looks out over the plains.
"Maybe I'll see if the flower of Rulan still has it in her to grow and bloom once again. How about you Ma'am? What brings you to the Southern Reach?"

Character Age: 24 Years Old
Brief Physical Description: Thoren is about 6'2 tall with a broad frame from years of plowing fields and helping the Wall Guard. He is a sun-kissed tan, with a square jaw and a rugged look to him. He has a strong, somewhat crooked nose from being broken in a fight when he was younger. He has grey-blue eyes, with dark brown hair, shaved on both sides and a bit longer on the other.
