Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

*Azaren leaned back, raising his hand to his chin as if he was deep in thought.* "Why am I back in the Reach you ask?" *He shifted in his seat again and thought for a moment, his eyes narrowing slightly.*
“Interesting question.” *He paused for the dramatic effect before bursting into laughter.*
“Well my father sent me here from the west, but I will be honest I didn't argue with him. I have always had a casual interest in history, specifically The Collapse and The Aedall. The intriguing past those two have, the ownership, the ruins... more accurately what actually caused both of them and how one just simply disappeared?” *He would say excited, obviously very connected to this topic. Then after a short pause, he’d continue the ramble* “The way that our ancestors built and ruled, there seems to be something spectacular about it. I think I am nostalgic, craving a lost glory." *He would start to think about other topics to discuss as he noticed himself just monologing about his interests*
“This place is very green, it reminds me kind of the terraces and other interesting things Iria has to offer.” *He would correct his posture glancing down at his sword*
“Oh yeah, by the way, I’m from Iria, if you ever heard about it. It's a very cool place.” *Azaren said before smiling as he remembered his old home*
“I also like meeting strong people and fighters, since well, I was given two options by my father, either be a good old farmer, or a fighter. I chose fighter” *The carriage would hit a pothole, shaking Azaren a little bit. Azaren then would steady himself.*
"Fallen cultures like the Aedall were remarkably very intelligent people. I do wonder sometimes how such cultures disappeared so suddenly” *Azaren said, maintaining his relaxed stance*
“They acted like they were better than others though.” *Azaren would shift the conversation from history to his family without warning, diving a little more into his backstory*
“I feel like this journey made me spend a lot of money… Money that isn’t mine, but my father’s. He is a rice farmer - self proclaimed best rice farmer. Which if you ask me, is cool.” *he would rub his head looking a little ashamed of himself feeling like he had wasted his fathers money*
“Oh my mother! - My mother is from Mori, she was back in the day a very talented fisherwoman before moving to Iria” *He would smoothly change the conversation to Mori.* “You know, I've only been to Mori a few times, but I think it is so cool! There is so much happening in Mori; shipbuilding, fishing, trading; it is just so distinct. So much energy in that place!"

Brief Physical Description: Azaren Molthorn is an elf who is 28 years old and 6'1'. He has bright green eyes and short black hair, almost dark enough to be considered completely dark. He carries himself with a quiet confidence, and has a very thin body with a very strong build and strong features that create a very intimidating presence. He is still considered to be relatively young by elven standards and yet carries a calm, measured, and wise presence that is odd for someone with definitely a youthful appearance. He can be very quiet and observant letting his actions define him rather than from the words he speaks. He does not need to take command of any room. He already commands his presence.
