Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

“Nervous? Nah.” Ahi said calmly as they stared at the roof of the wagon with disdain for its short height, forcing Ahi to be hunched.
“Why’ve I come to the Reach huh?” They mumbled before turning their attention to the elder woman. “Here on business. I’m originally birthed from the Ashlands, with a Greatling for a father and a Fey-Blessed for a mother. All my life they’ve expected me to become some great warrior like them, but that ain’t me. I’m an adventurer. The only thing I did that they approved of was making the trek to Dragon’s Maw. But I would say that journey only fueled my desire more. I don’t want to just fight; I want to explore the world and its secrets. I seek fortune. Which is why I’m here miss. Sorta.”
Ahi chuckled, leaning forward with their arm leaning on their thigh. “I’ve come from the Mistspire Keep of the Eagle place, uh the Eagle Isles. I was there looking for an old friend of mine, great tracker and informant by the way. He’s a Jack. Helped me track a band of bandits that were terrorizing I think Stonebrook some time back.” Ahi paused for a moment, reaching into their bag to pull out a piece of paper, turning it towards the old woman to show a drawn image of a young girl.
“He was supposed to help me track down a Korami that didn’t make it to Mariza for some trade. But the southern swamp didn’t show. So now I gotta head to the swamp to see if I can find him there. But I need to stop at the Spire, since it's close to the swamp, to get more food. Ran out a day ago.” Ahi laughed while holding their stomach, feeling a slight rumble shake through their body.
“But yeah. That’s my story Miss. What about you? What’re you doing in the Reach?” They asked with a smile.
Character Name: Ahi Agni
Character Race: Fey-Touched & Greatling (Fireborne)
Character Age: 85
Brief Physical Description:
The Greatling genes that runs through Ahi’s veins shows more prominently than that of the Fey’s. Standing at 6’2 with grey skin that's adorned with black splotches all over, making it look as if they’d been working in a coal mine. Ahi’s hair, a deep fiery red, is kept to their ears with their sides shaved. Though it often looks messy and ragged from blindly cutting. Their eyes hold a rare sight among the Fey and Greatling’s alike; one being as black as the soot from dying embers, and the other being as blue as the hottest fires made from the oldest dragons, however this eye is usually kept covered by a black eye patch. The only scales that appear on Ahi’s body are on their back, and a single small horn protrudes from the left side of their temple that twists like a gazelle’s. Ahi is accident prone, so their clothes always manage to become torn. Though they prefer darker colors of browns and blacks, they won't hesitate to wear brighter colors of reds and yellows during their people's great bonfires.
