The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

The question gave me pause, a moment taken to fully consider the question. "I have come for knowledge of the world, To respect the waters, the oceans of the Island is to understand what borders it. I have seen many a person come into the ports of Sirensong, many with stories and fables of new places. The trade of material has led to the want for trade of fables and stories. I wish to learn." Gave another pause, unsure what exactly else brought the Fey touched to the area. " Much like the Mistan before me, I am here to learn and be able to retell the tales of the lands. With the wisdom of the mistcaller, I wish to emulate their position as an advisor as well. I wish to work to be close to their wisdom one day." nodded as she came to the final part of her answer. "Knowledge shall be the upkeep of us all. Much like the sea guides the Seren Monarchs promise and keeps it, knowledge shall forever keep the people thriving."

 Brief Physical Description: They stand at 5 feet tall, with large inky blue eyes.  They have a heritage of the wetlands so they have scales and blueish spots covering their body. Their hair is long, when not tied it comes to the calfs of them, much like their Eyes, their hair is inky and dark.

Hello! I'm Dinomono and I'll be reviewing your application, so far you're on the right track, however Isla's response to the old woman still needs some work for me to be able to approve it. Our requirements are of a 250 words minimum, this IC response doesn't reach 200, we also need a certain amount of references to our lore made, with a certain depth to them. 'Depth' in this case is to mean some sort of elaboration to confirm the applicant's read enough of the Compendium and understood the references being made, it can be the an explanation of whatever's being mentioned, or an individual perspective of the character about it, as long as it's elaborate it's fine.

Essentially, I'd just need more references to lore and more text in general, once edits have been made please reply to this thread so I can be notified and can continue reviewing!
