(Optional) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): I've got too many names that change all the time. The one that has stuck with me the longest though is Geo so go ahead and call me that. Or Geodude because people find it amusing. I consider myself a novice in most art media but am slowly improving. I have a couple of years of experience in MCRP under my belt. Though majority of it was hopping between different servers that had it's ups and downs. I have very little experience in figura modeling so the most I can do are basic props.
In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Aevis was initially perplexed by the sudden attention. He wasn't too keen on being the receiving end of most conversations, simply due to his lack of experience outside his families sphere of influence. However, seeing as the whole trip so far has been fairly uneventful, but he liked the time to himself and his thoughts. But, it would be rude of him to leave her feeling ignored. He adjusted the shawl around his neck and looked at her in response.
"I wouldn't say I'm nervous. Troubled would be more accurate." He replied simply.
"Oh? And what is troubling a young man such as yourself?" The older woman raised a wrinkled brow at him.
"I come from one of the northern towns. Tamohn specifically. I am on a trip to handle some family matters. My sister has failed to keep in contact with the rest of her family. It has been over a year since we had last seen her. The worry she has brought upon our parents has left me no choice but to see how she is doing this far south." He revealed without much reservation. Something as simple as this should satisfy her. But when he glanced at the older woman, she seemed even more intrigued. Her expression screaming for more.
There seemed to be an invisible feeling of curiosity and intent. Is this just the natural pressure from an extrovert?
"E-Erm... Ahem! I am also making an expedition to study the doctrine of the fabled Equinox and Phoenix. Since I was to journey outside of my home farther than I have ever before, I wanted to seek out others who might have experience with the powers of the twin birds along the way."
The woman gasped in admiration as she looked at Aevis up and down.
"You've come a long, long way from Tamohn. So far up north-east and with seemingly only the clothing on your back to show for." She frowns with a sympathetic look.
"I have heard of the many journeys of those who had sought out the virtues of the fabled birds. But you seem to inherit traits of the Greatlings. Aren't they quite avoidant of the beliefs of fables?" She leaned closer curiously. The distinct traits of his horns made his origin obvious.
Aevis for his part looked a bit uncomfortable but could understand the confusion due to the culture some Greatlings had. Their blood runs through his veins, but his attachment to their ways was complicated. With only a few of their beliefs still mentioned and studied in his family on his father's side. Such as the omens of the stars and the emphasis on destiny.
"As you can probably tell, I am of mixed blood. Born and raised outside of the influence of my Greatling heritage."
"Am I perhaps prodding too far into your family matters?" The woman exclaimed worriedly.
"It's fine. I've got nothing to be ashamed of in sharing."
"I see. Well, perhaps I'll steer the conversation back to the fable you spoke of? The twin birds is a tale many have heard about. Since you come from Tamohn, some of the remaining scholars must have made mention of them."
She steered the conversation onto something else out of curtesy. To which Aevis appreciated very much. This long journey of his had allowed himself to learn more about many kinds of people and beliefs. In all honesty, he had initially decided to chase after fables due to his sister's fixation of the Spirit of The Fire Dragon. A tale often recited by their father. Meanwhile the twin birds were more so endorsed by our mother. They had grown up surrounded by the subject of belief. And it had seemingly stuck with them.
"There are very few left who focus on the fables of old. Most scholars we more focused on more modern topics." He admitted helplessly.
"I must say, to have crossed through the ongoing conflict up in the north just to find your sister, you must care for her dearly..." The woman leaned back in her seat.
"I'd like to think so, though we do have our fair share of arguments..." He glanced at the woman briefly before looking out to the open field they were riding through briskly.
The older woman hummed and followed his gaze. A silence lingering between the two as the whispering amongst the other passengers seemed to be in their own worlds.
"What are you running from Ana..."
"Hm?" The older woman tilted her head at his mumbling.
"Nothing. I am simply trying to organize my thoughts." He shook his head sheepishly.
"You have a long life ahead of you. Long enough to take things one step at a time." She smiled kindly.
Aevis gave a small smile in response before looking down at his hands. Another length of silence surrounded the two as the wagon continued down its path along the dirt road.

Character Name: Aevis Calataurë
Character Race: Half-Race (Ars Sidhe/Greatling)
Character Age: 16
Brief Physical Description: Lean build but not super bulky with light skin tone (Tanned) and barely kept dark brown hair that can be mistaken for black that is partially tied at the back. Deep blue eyes and a scar left here and there across his chest and arms , but prominently so across his nose. He stands around 6'2", below the average of Greatlings due to his elven heritage but still showing subtle features of both races. Two pronged horns stick up from the side of his head and he is often adorning simple fabric clothing.
His appearance is often mistaken for someone older due to his size and "casual" self maintenance.
