In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)?
Thrudni regards her silently for a few moments, before a low, hushed sigh escapes her as a forced, awkward smile crosses her lips. “Excited, yes.”
She gives a slight nod, shifting uncomfortably within the packaged wagon, too small for her stature. Her words are hesitant at first as she continues, though quickly grow more certain. “I came from the mountains from the east. I heard from traders and valley-folk passing through Albern’s Crossing of strange goings and happenings, thought it would mean demand for labor working forges or hauling lumber.”
She pauses, glancing to the plains past the old woman with a thoughtful, studious gaze. She silently examines the land for a few moments before she speaks once again. “Also, the lands here, they’re fit to herd more than just goats. I hope to start a herd of great many livestock.”
Her smile fades to a slightly dour expression as her gaze shifts back to the woman. “Abundance, plenty of meat for hungry or wayward kin and hides for trade, more than home before storm and avalanche wounded my clan last Frostfall. Things that can be sent back to the clan, to strengthen it through harsher times.”
She pulls herself from her thoughts and back to the moment. She relaxes more, her tone growing from a muttered whisper into a warmer tone. “I think this goal will do well, stars above have flashed in good omen above the cairn paths down from the peaks.”
“Tell me-”, She starts to state in a commanding tone before quickly pausing, stifling her eagerness with a muttered apology and a slight bow of her head towards the woman, before she starts to really lay on the soft-tongue. “ Please, wise elder, at the Spire, are there other Greatlings there? What folk and kind have found their place in this town? Tell me there’s more to that town than just mages and mystics, those who do proper work with their own hands and strength.”
She pauses, before she cracks a wide eager grin as she calls out in a boisterous tone. “And, when we get there, where can I find some good food and sport? Can’t use all this strength for work alone.”

Character Name: Thrudni Jarvain
Character Race: Stonerunner Greatling
Character Age: 27 Years old
Brief Physical Description: A tall woman, though still on the shorter side for a Greatling. Green eyes gaze out oft in a neutral scrutinizing. Her dark hair drapes around the ram’s horns that frame her oval shaped face and hangs freely down to her shoulders. She is often dressed in a simple but sturdy tan tunic and pants beneath a warm coat that tightens near the wrists and clasped around the waist with a belt.
Image of Skin and Figura Model:
I will likely need to make the model bigger once I am in game, I was unsure of the precise scale for the model. I also intend on further editing the skin and improving shading/finer details.
