Do not use open flame as a weapon.

I feel it an insult to your intelligence to explain why it is a horrid idea to use fire as a weapon. It is cruel, dangerous to yourself and those around you, and a high crime as according to common spire law, Arson. First of all, dryads are sacred to the forest as protectors. Killing one, yet alone reducing it to ash, could be seen as highly offensive towards fae, nature, and divine gardeners alike. I implore you look for other ways of dealing with this guardian other than outright slaughter or torture. Secondly, the use of fire as a weapon is inhumane, and outright dangerous. To use such a destructive force in such a flammable environment is recipe for a forest fire. You could very well endanger the lives of hundreds and thousands of innocent animals, as well as endanger the lives of yourself if the fire spreads fast enough. And lastly, the reckless use of fire in a manner to endanger life is illegal in accordance to Section 2 IV of spire law and is considered a high crime.

Do your part and protect our wildlife. Only you can prevent forest fires.

The Fey themselves have requested the death of this particular Dryad, citing it as fully corrupted and beyond saving. The Fey specifically made it clear to use flames to put the Dryad out of its misery. The fire planned to be used will be under constant supervision to ensure the flames do not spread from the Dryad into the surrounding forest. I thank you for your warning and general reminder, though in this case it is unnecessary. This isn't a hunt for glory or honor, it is the mercy killing of a wounded soul.
