Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Suzume blinks as she looks at the woman, then down at her hands which were clasped tightly together in her lap to the point of shaking. She really thought she was far from nervous, but the woman was far more observant than she believed.
“I suppose. I’m searching for my brother.” She speaks with a Korami accent, attempting to offer a smile but then immediately giving it up. “He’s been away from home for a long time. He’s all I’ve left now, so I hope to reunite. It’s just been so long… I don’t know how he will feel when he sees me.” She’s honest, but she doesn’t want to worry the woman with all the details of her reasons. Turning her gaze back out to the landscapes, Suzume falls quiet and gets lost in her thoughts as she replays that night’s events all over again.
War Wanderers had razed her home in the dead of night, tearing apart her family and killing them. The Saisui family couldn’t even process what was happening until it was far too late. All because some Odohki loyalists believed her family to be Kensho spies. Suzume is only alive now because of a kind villager helping her escape when her family could not. She still had to fake her death just to avoid being hunted down, and even going so far as to send her youngest brother the family blade so the story of her death could be bought.
Fueled by anger, she’s now driven to want to protect the innocent whereever she could just as how that random villager protected her when she needed it. They had given her a chance to live and fight another day, and to finally have her brother in her life again. She doesn’t want to waste it.

Brief Physical Description: Suzume stands at a height of 6’2”, with pale skin marred with scarring as a result of her upbringing. Pale golden eyes almost complement the pale blonde hair that frames them. She usually wears dark and neutral colors with some red shades mixed in.
