The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"I have come far from the East from the lands of Falstoners, before you ask about my face there is a story behind it as well."

"Our Village of Jotuhad (fictional destroyed village with nothing left) was once some of the most prosperous land in the east, it even survived the long winter of 1634, or that´s what i was told."

"I have heard about it" the woman replies

"But on a dark day about 3 months ago an army of Brigands, potentially hired marched into the village to destroy and loot it."

"i got gravely injured by the brigands and also got the left of my face and head burned which is why i am partly blind"

"I am seeking for guidance and strenght at the souther realm to avenge my family by destroying those brigands once and for all."

"i have also noticed some corruption in the Republic of Fallstone which most likely lead to the raid that corrupted offical ordered there."

I'm sorry, your application is denied. While your IC response to the old woman has an appropriate word count, the references to Compendium lore are underdeveloped, and in some cases wrong. The Long Winter, for example, was a historical event of the lands of Ko'ram- It is a continent to the west, past a sea, your falstoner character references it when his homeland is at the opposite side of the map, far east into the Faded Steppe is the Fallstone Republic.

Returning to the IC response, we look for in-depth reference in terms of what the character mentions, at least two instances of it. This means going beyond off-hand comments and either explaining or elaborating to some extent on aspects of that Compendium entry with what is given from reading it, Jotuhad and brigands are original aspects of this character, and while they exist within Fallstone there is very little informing me about the culture beyond that.

Last, the emoting in itself is not in-depth either, comprised of separate lines of dialogue with no narration in-between. This, coupled with the english makes me think you'll have a difficult time getting into actual RP in-server. There's no shame in that, it's not my mother tongue either, but it adds to the list of concerns I have that inform my decision.
