Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

This was it, Aeira finally made it to the Reach after the struggle it took to make it here. Her family were Falstoners and would rather take the simple life of traveling in a caravan. Three quarters of the year could be spent traveling and that kind of life wasn't for her. She enjoyed staying put in one place so ultimately, she left and headed for the Reach. There was a town there called the Spire and believed it would be a good place to reinvent herself.
Quickly she was snapped out of her thoughts as her pet fae marten squeaked at her to get her attention when someone began speaking to her during the wagon ride. She loved him, she had found him in the trees while traveling with her family when she was younger and the two had quickly bonded. He squeaked again snapping her out of it a second time because she was lost in her thoughts once more. After that she finally paid attention to who was talking to her. It was an older woman she didn't seem hostile by any means, just a kind lady curious about why she was here. "Didn't want to travel my whole life. I want to make do by myself, perhaps open a shop and definitely explore the city and meet some people." She was glad the lady wasn't asking her about her scales on her arms and legs. She was fey touched and didn't like to talk about it. Some others of her race considered it a blessing, but she saw it as a curse. She didn't like the idea of her ancestors being unwillingly touched by the fey, it seemed off to her. "What about you? Why have you come to the reach?" She figured it would be best to stop thinking too much and just listen to the older woman.
Finally after listening to what the older woman had to say the wagon finally stopped and Aeira stepped out. It was finally time to see what the Reach had to offer her.

Brief Physical Description: Aeira is a 5'5 brown-haired fey touched female with solid blue eyes. Due to her having river fey heritage she is covered in blue scales scattered on her arms and legs.
