Read the following prompt:

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"Well, since we have the time before we get there, I'll give you my full story. My name is Drew Witley, and I'm of the Valkians. I was raised as a merchant, but I always fashioned myself as more of a scholar, and so I've set out to travel and learn all that I can. Of course, I still need to make a living, and so I ply my trade through barter, offering up what I have learned in exchange for what I haven't. As for why I've come to the reach in particular.. I guess you could say it's out of familiarity. My first stop will be The Wall, and I plan on orienting myself before I continue my erudite pilgrimage. If luck is on my side, I'll easily find work there as some sort of antiquarian or librarian. If nothing else, perhaps I'd find a decent living off of authoring some books detailing my knowledge and expertise. From there, I'll remain until my business has been concluded, being that if I had happened upon something that enthralled my interest, I'd just simply have to stay longer. If I had to elaborate on any hopes that I might have just while I'm at The Wall, it would be of learning of different cultures, and getting hands-on experience with the arcane. I've heard of magical trinkets being circulated in markets, but I've never personally dealt with one myself. Of course, as an antiquarian, I suppose some prior knowledge of such trinkets would be important... Perhaps I should make that my priority, along with general study of the arcane. While everything looks pretty good, I do have a few notes to clarify, mainly that while The Wall is technically within the playable map, it's not used as a place for RP. In addition, I believe that at the point where the prompt takes place, the wagon is already meant to be past The Wall. However, much of what Drew describes doing can be done within the Spire, which is where most of the RP on the server takes place. 

As another question, though a far less important one that you do not need to answer to be whitelisted, but can you elaborate on how you found out about Avalore?

yes, I used grok to find niche games of a similar type to this that I couldn't find by using regular search engines
in truthfulness, I'm not greatly familiar with this kind of gamestyle, but I'm willing to get it a try
I'm sure this is at least somewhat amusing to the server operators here
