Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Claudio is thankful for the break in his concentration. Though he tries his best to forget what happened to his family, it always slips into his thoughts when he's comfortable. He smiles cheerily at the lady when he responds, "Ah, you caught me! Yes, yes... Well, a new start, I guess -- I'm sure that's a common answer out here, but it's hard to think of how else to put it. I'll tell you what I'm DONE with, though, despite being Valkian I am through with trading, that has brought me no end of troubles!" Claudio laughs heartily, hiding the pain that past really brings with it.
Claudio is a generally friendly man and easy to talk to, so he ends up speaking with the lady for a good part of the day. He talks about how he grew up with a Valkian family, but ended up living with Falstoners as an adult. About how much he enjoyed travelling around the Valkian Realm, even if some places brought much worse luck than others. And he talks about how what he really, truly wants in this new land is just a home, a garden, and a community he can support and be supported by.

Brief Physical Description: Claudio stands at around 5'11 with dark, short hair. His hair is cut un-evenly, clearly done by his own hand. He wears simple, cheap, practical clothing for travelling with no extra adornments. Claudio seems to have gone through some recent troubles in his life, as he is peppered in recent small scars -- most notably, a burn on the back of his right hand.
