Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share: So hello there! A few things to know: I'm obsessed with my cats, I only have 8 toes, and I currently am studying to work in the medical field. Telemetry Tech to be specific. Basically, I would watch the screens that do the beep beep noise and try to warn the doctors before you hear the really long beep.

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
---
With a flick of her ear, the Arsa Sidhe woman turned her head away from the view in front of herself to the voice beside her as the elderly woman brought herself into Ayda's moment of awe, in truth ruining it for her. Giving her a look over from head to toe, doing little to hide the side-eyed glance, she seemed to question if she should respond to the woman. There was the consideration of pretending that she had taken a vow of silence. Simply letting the woman's query hang in the air unanswered. It was odd to her how complete strangers thought it acceptable to act as if they were on friendly terms. She didn't give the woman any sign that she had wanted to talk. With a soft sigh through her nose, it seemed that the kindness in the woman's smile warmed her enough to give her a response however. She turned to look at her fully, giving her the attention that she apparently so deeply desired.
"I'm on my way to The Spire. I've come to study, and I've been told that it would be a good place to start." With a small tilt of her head, she watched the wrapped item in her lap. Long, clearly a weapon. She had brought her family's sword with her, but was carrying it like a gift to an elder instead of something to wield and protect herself. The tilt of her head sent her white curls spilling down around her shoulders while her thoughts raced. There was so much more that she could say to this stranger. But then she would become part of that group of people that she not even a moment ago questioned. With a small lift of the corner of her lips, she figured that she could give a glimmer of truth. Perhaps a small story that the elderly lady could tell her grandchildren that evening of a strange woman who she met who she met. Perhaps even a part of her wanted to be spoke of like that, like the odd story book background character.
"Actually, that's not entirely true. Now that I've taken the steps to prove myself to my clan, I made the choice to leave Mori so that I may explore and learn. I want to know more. There's an odd calling in my soul to obtain as much knowledge about the world around me as possible. It's hard to explain... It feels as if someone has tugged on a string in my spirit, pulling me gently but steadily. Telling me to learn everything that I can. It's as if somewhere inside of me there's someone screaming to do this so that I could never be caught off guard. To armor myself with with capability as well as information. Perhaps it's the spirits, or perhaps it's buried memories of a previous life." She turned her attention back to the woman as she gave her a warm smile, her own eyes softening as she relaxed through the conversation. Perhaps that was enough of her reasoning to make a story. Who's to say. Perhaps in years to come, she will find the descendant who will know her as nothing more than a story that her great-grandmother told her as a child.
"And what of yourself? Is there anywhere that you would suggest a newcomer such as myself to study first?"
How do you respond (in character)?
