Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Edvard a little cramped in the average wagon, offers the kind woman a smile back. He ponders to himself, what is the truth of why he has come here.. Was it for hopes of glory? Perhaps he simply wished to see these lands..? No he knows why he's here, and though this old woman may find it weird he speaks, in that soft spoken way common for Stonerunners like himself.
"I seek my twin, one born under the same Constellation as me." He pauses realizing she may not realize immediately what he means, offering a soft chuckle he motions to the sky above. "Upon my birth the Duel sat above my people's tent, the first thing my eyes laid upon after my mother of course. Though, I was not born with a twin." he offers a soft smile "I was a single child, but out there I know that there is one like me... Perhaps not looking like me but one who shares the same spirit and drive as me, and so I wish to seek them out." He is content with this telling of his tale giving another soft chuckle as he thinks how foolish he may seem, what sort of man travels so far just to try and find a possibility?
He begins to speak more, even if he needs not to. "I need to find them, for a old diviner told me that with that person born under the same Constellation as me at that /same time/. My destiny lies with them, and so I took up all that I can too find them..." he ponders deeply "I wonder if they seek me as well? Or is it simply all on me to find them." His pondering is cut short by himself shaking his head, to cast away those doubts he holds. Looking towards the old lady and smiles once more. "Have you ever had your fate read by a Diviner, Ma'am? Its a intimidating process... At least it was for me, going into that ancient hall." he taken back to that memory.. The Star temple oh how wonderous he found it, but a lad of 17 when he went. Wanting to find his destiny there... And he did, the smile on his face grows. "Its eerie, seeing all those bones on display. But there is a sort of solace in that, no matter how powerful you are we deep down are still just bones. They just had the drive to become that! Oh how I hope one day I may be able to become like that- not bones that's grim." he lets out a hearty laugh before calming himself. "To become something /great/- but first I must find my twin... And who knows when that will be." He smiles softly - goodness he's been rambling hasn't he, he bows his head "Forgive my rambles, its been so long I have had a good chance to let my thoughts out. I would suggest making a pilgrimage to Notthof if you need to know your future."
