Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

A soft huff of amusement as Cait pushes their hair from their eyes. She quietly considers her answer a moment. Finally she speaks, the words dancing from their lips as if carried on a melody even with her lisp. “Need somethin’ worth sharin’.” Her accent lets the end of some of her words fall away, cutting them sort. A playful smile tugs at their lips.
“Trinket, story, somethin’ to that ‘ffect. Have a want tae return home, cannae blame a lass fae such. Or so is my ‘pinion. ‘Sides, figure out here is the best place tae gae ‘bout gettin’ such ‘n’ these folks are nae likely tae complain ‘bout gainin’ a new metalsmith,” she explains, light shrug as she leans forward. They rest their elbows on their knees. Her hair falls back into her face, lightly obscuring dark green eyes that study the woman. “Nae that it’s most interestin’ answer yer likely tae get, but figure goin’ home should be marked by somethin’ truly great tae return with. Nae?”

Brief Physical Description: Cait is on the shorter side, standing a 5’4. She has a slightly more muscular build due to her work as a smith, though her general body type leans more pear-shaped. She has thick, dark auburn hair parted to the side, often tied in a low ponytail. Her skin is on the border of olive and light brown, covered in a smattering a freckles. Large, dark green eyes are perhaps the most noticeable feature, aside from the gap between her front two teeth that causes a slight lisp. She often wears greens and lighter shades of yellow, opting the most often for a tunic and trousers.
