The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

He was thinking of home, Sanguifleur, and its vast ocean of red. He traveled alone, regretful and abandoning all that he knew, but he had to. It was her fault. “Hm?.. Oh, apologies! I was just… thinking…” he smiled brightly, his frown disappearing entirely, replaced with a sincere grin. He reached up to scratch the back of his head, a nervous tick to others, but he was readjusting some uncomfortable bramble on the back of his neck, hiding back inside of his armor. He kept these thorns on him at all times, a reminder, and a means to spellcasting. His was by means of briars and blood, the Ichor being a last resort if his prowess with the rapier failed him. “I’m really just traveling! I spent a bit of time with my father on the Pearl Coast. Lovely people. Most of my clothes are from there now, it’s just so comfortable, being able to move that freely is wonderful when it comes to swinging a light blade such as this” He pointed to the beautiful rose hilt of his rapier. “Ah… would you happen to know where I could find anyone willing to teach others in the arcane arts in exchange for crowns? Maybe a swordsmaster as well, I’m always looking to hone my skills.”

Comfortable Mistan clothes to replace his older attire, custom made medium armor and rapier, with rose and thorn motifs all over. Sanguifleur and Pearl Coast was written all over him.
