[!] Isn't it Ironic?

Deep within the underground city, a missive is posted upon the notice board, the parchment smelling of fresh ichor.

It is not often that I delve into political dealings, but as of late, I have found a certain . . Amusement in what I have seen.

This Cabal, these so-called Dons of the Undercity. How desperate they are to speak out against the government, to spread the word and incite a change. All this talk about oppression.

And yet, what have they done? They call their little meetings, and discuss changes they wish to impose below. I have even heard word that one of their Dons has been collecting dues from the denizens, with very little offered in return.

Most would call this governing, I believe.

But, who am I to speak out of turn? After all, their leader strikes fear into my heart - How he hides behind a wall when accepting a duel, and still manages to lose.

Isn't it ironic?

The only signature that lies on the page is a drawing of an Ouroboros.

Spoiler
OOC Disclaimer; This is simply what my character has observed so far! I do not have any issues with any players involved with the Cabal. Feel free to correct any misunderstandings
or grievances through IC means!

On the Topic of Ironies...

A messenger would post forth a series of notices in the Undercity, one delicately plopped next to the original note of the Serpente...

One must question: why divide a community so wracked with mistrust? We ought progress together and refrain from undermining each other's efforts. The denizens of the Undercity are all under one roof, through plague and hardship alike. To divide amongst each other is to ensure weakness of the Undercity, as opposed to the strength in a community united: as we ought strive to be.

There is no "leader" of the Cabal. We Dons art all representatives of various families that reside and work here. Such is a message we attempt to convey within our various public outings. We are open to discussion in regards to our standing as public figures.

Should thee have a change of heart, Serpent--to represent thy concerns in a constructive manner--a seat remains open for thee and thy family to partake as an equal. Regardless, we will continue our work to feed our own families and the Undercity at large

Cordially,

- The Dons

OOC: What up, I'm acting as messenger here and would like to formally bow us out of the notice board discussion here, thank you Shark for the exciting prompt! Much love to all players involved <3 hope this has been a fun and thought-provoking read!
