(Optional) How did you hear about Avalore?: its a long story, i think i first saw it on a top 15 mcrp servers list (pcgamer maybe?) and then forgot about it. anyways im trapped in a group chat with a bunch of avalore players and they all keep posting screenshots and its driving me up the walls i cant fucking take it anymore LET ME IN I KNOW WHAT YOUR MAGES ARE.

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"Good natured nosiness, I think." The man took a moment to second guess that reply. A half-truth at best, and the part that was a lie nearly spilled out of a bag resting next to him. It was filled to the brim with whittled wood trinkets. Toys for children, ornamental beads, the thing someone prone to being spendy might buy were only one bump in the road from tumbling out. And yet all those things were far from necessities. But everyone has to make money somehow. A curious scholar has to be able to buy books. Why does a wanderer choose to wander instead of settling down? The blood of the Arsa-Sidhe called for Iisendren to find a home, to settle down like those who lived within Kor'am. Not all the fragments of Ancients had found their footing in the world. His parents, his parents parents, and so on and so forth, had drifted as their afterimage. His family's wanderings were an echo of their wanderings where they followed the footsteps of the Star Seers caravan. If they weren't anchored to the money made being merchants, they were anchored by a safe place to raise an accursed child, surrounded by other fey-touched made it less odd to have a face full of feathers.
Honesty eventually trickled out before the silence could catch on.
"I uh, I'm not sure where they went. I fell behind about a week ago or so. You haven't seen the Star Seers pass through, have you?" A bit of a long shot to even ask an old lady, who probably falls asleep the second the glow of twilight fades. Luck was on his side if she had somehow seen the group of nocturnal merchants pass through. After all the carriage ride was an attempt to locate them again. Perhaps, just perhaps, the fact Iisendren was in the Southern Reach instead of the Faded Steppe.. was a tell-tale sign of just how sorely lost he was. Maybe a part of him prayed to Lady Luck herself in hopes that there were at least some interesting books in the next town the wagon stopped in.
Somewhere, someone packing their caravan is surely asking "Where'd Iisendren go?" and someone else probably gave a snarky remark about him wandering off to go read which resulted in the crinkle of his feathers as he sneezed. A faerie's ultimate prank had sentenced the poor guy to a new fate far more grand than selling toys and buying books.
This adventure was purely an accident. For now, there was no telling if it was fortune or misfortune that struck him when he overslept. Surely luck was what kept this guy alive though.

Brief Physical Description: Dawning a green traveller's cloak its not hard to guess what his occupation is... was. If you were looking at his tall and lanky silhouette in the night you'd likely guess it's just another Arsa-Sidhe and yet light a lantern and the face full of warm grey feathers is hard to miss. They spread from his left cheek to just beneath his eye like an infection, or worse, facial hair. They frame an otherwise pale face, long silver hair restrained by a blue ribbon, and ruby red eyes . And if you really did stumble upon him in an alley, his expression seems to be in a permanent state of "where am I?" sort of lost-ness.
