Good day everyone! I do hope you are well. My name is Anwar, most of you may know me from the teahouse, others may know me for my work as an envoy, serving as understudy to Chancellor Adrian during their previous term. Throughout said term, I worked to aid diplomatic matters and represent the Spire to possible allies, and found great joy in doing so. It is an honour to work for the people of this city, and so I would like to continue working to improve our home. And on that note, I would like to make some proposals.

Proposal to care for our refugees
With the increase in people, it is imperative that we increase our farming to match the new demand for food. There ought to be a focus on caring for our fields, making the most of the pleasant weather of the season. There shall be many more refugees to come, and they shall be hungry.  It is also important to rally the community. I believe it would be good to start hosting some events to raise funds to support the newcomers; these events shall both provide coin and much-needed levity.

Proposal to expand upon the docks
Our current docks, lovely as they are, could do with some growth. An expansion is due. This will allow for increased trade by water, which will bolster our ability to trade with our allies from Mori. Additionally, strengthened ties with Kor'am will be useful, as the town will benefit from the increased trade. With the turmoil in Falstone, we shan't be able to import from those lands so easily, and something must fill the gap.
