 I'll be attaching a pic of my skin I plan to use. Hi, I'm Madeline. I want my character to be a Human pirate. I Imagine she left her small town home when she was old enough and set sail on the High Seas. She wasn't looking to become a pirate, it just happened to her when she ran out of money. As for me, I'm mostly a builder, but I also like to make farms, so I'm not constantly gathering materials.

I guess I’ve come because I wanted my life to be…more than what it was. I want to explore and see what the world has to offer. The world is just so big I don’t see how anyone could stay in one place forever. My parents know how to stay in one place. I’m from just off the wall you see. My Parents have been working in a Vineyard their whole lives. I knew that if I didn’t do something that I’d get stuck in that life too. There isn’t much in the Duchy of Rulan anymore, since the mason’s guild collapsed into obscurity. It became too depressing for me to stay. I just had to get out of there. You see, I grew up hearing so many wonderful stories of faraway lands. I just had to find them for myself. I hear talk about people with bark for skin that have leaves growing out of them. I can’t want to meet new people. I’m headed for the Valkian Realm first. I hear that they love to explore too. I figure it’s the perfect place to start. I hope they have some really great stories for me. I do love stories. I plan to explore everywhere that I can once I’m done there. I do want to build a home though. Somewhere I can come back to. But I want to build it myself. I don’t want it to be handed to me. I want to earn it. You know? Anyway, I didn’t mean to tell you my whole life story. The Names Odette. It’s nice to meet you.

Hello, my name is Ash, and I'll be reviewing your application! There are just a few things that are keeping me from approving this, which I'll list here:

• I only see two lore references in your in-character response section, and we require three. As well, we require them to be in depth- the reference to the Mason's Guild in the Duchy of Rulan is good, do more of that!
• Your in-character response section is all dialogue- we would prefer to see a bit of non-dialogue narration in there as well. How is Odette feeling, what are her mannerisms like? How is she speaking? Things like that.
• If Odette is from the Duchy of Rulan, and she wants to visit Valkia, she would be heading north, instead of on a southern-bound caravan to the Spire. You can take a look at the world map here.
• I recommend sticking to our provided template (just highlight the full thing, copy, and paste it into the text box!) if you're struggling with the in-character response section, so you have it right there to reference!
