— I'm just a player who's tired of competitive games, used to be my comfort zone but i've lost most of my skill and now i just wanna chill, be creative, create art in-game, art in weapons in-game, be a trader and have fun. Hi, I'm Snack :)

In-Character

Read the following prompt:

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

— "I have been lost in history and still reminded today. I have come from a far place and yet i'm always near to those who die. I have come to the Reach for a simple reason, to find peace and comfort." says Snack with discomfort,  "I have been wanting to find the man who killed my wife and sister, all cludes have lead me here. Ever since, i've been refining my technique, my black smith abilities have increased drastically and so have my abilities. I may have been a black smith in my life but i will my spirit and scythe to find the one who murdered them."

Snack's presence becomes strong, his spirit levels are high and the woman worried about him asks gently to calm "Please Mr.Snack, calm your spirit energy and mind, you have been through a lot but i believe you will find a place in The Reach..."

Snack calms him self but still full of hatred and sour, his eyes looking like he went through so much that you can visually see his trauma and depression. He answers to the woman " You're right ma'am, thank you. The man is close and i can feel him... i WILL find him no matter what. I haven't spend a hundred years to achieve this state to not miss the chance." 

The woman calmly asks "Well... where are you from anyway?" he responds "From the Skillet land, up the hills, where the sun can't reach, yet we have light due to energy crystals" she asks "How was it like?" he responds with so much exciting that gets teared eye in the middle of explanation "It was full of vegetation, clear crystal waters, people helped each other with their tasks, everyone had food and water, there was no hierarchy but there was a leader... *gets teared* ah... the crystals singing... but... once they arrived, everything changed..." she asks "Who are "they"?" he calmly answers "Humans, humans started a fire everywhere, we fought them but they somehow had magic, which is impossible, since they don't posesse the spirits of nature. Whoever they trapped most of us, the rest flew and that's where the "man" i've spoke enters... he murdered my wife and sister slowly while i was in a cage. He murdered them slowly, removing finger by finger, limb by limb but he didn't let us die there, he started removing one eye, cut open their ribcages, taking one organ out, one by one. Only after taking the heart out, is that both of them passed away...".

The woman terrified says "Oh my... i'm so sorry that you went through all of that and i hope you find your peace soon. What will you do after you get your revenge?"

"I will mostly rest, finally accept my death whenever it comes, i might rest near here and will be doing black smith once again and help those who wish help till my time comes" says snack

"I hope you find your peace here, it's a beautiful place afterall. I believe you will find here what you're after. By the way, what's your name? I didn't catch on" says the lady

"My name is Snack the VII, a noble Black Smither but also the Defendor of the Spirit realm, Skillet. At your service Ma'am." says Snack while in the back it appears his whole people who have died and his scythe shining in black trimmed in refined of black scails with the signuture "Soul Reaper" in the curve of the blade.

 Brief Physical Description: Lean but strong, his presence is intimidating, each time he swings and hits his hammer, you freeze with terror, he's faster than sound it self.

Hello! While I appreciate the effort put into Snack as a character, this application isn't something I can accept given it violates one of our Server rules, #5 under the Roleplay Rules tab:

"Server Setting: Please respect the setting of the server. Follow the regulations outlined in lore and keep out-of-character references to a minimum or absent. Avoid roleplay that acts as a 1:1 replica of real-life individuals, characters in media, events, and likewise."

When writing applications, part of the expectation is that players review the basics of our world like the map, locations, and things like our magic systems if they want to include magic or the supernatural in their story. These serve as some hard limits on what a player character can or cannot be. For instance, players must select a playable race from our Lore Compendium, of which four are available to you for a whitelist. Phantoms and the 'Spirit World' as described in the application do not exist in our setting, alongside most of the other information included. Our guidelines clearly state three references to our Lore must be included, of which I can find only one mention of the Reach.

I will be denying the application. You're welcome to re-apply at any time, but if you do, I will also request the character submitted does not share a name with you, through either your username or personal nicknames (so they cannot be named 'Snack'). Roleplay is fiction, and this helps us maintain that barrier between creative writing and our real lives.
