whats up my name is Silver I used to run a server relatively similar to this that lasted about 6 months and had 100+ players. Pretty much looking for a similar sized server etc

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

Cedric would turn to the women, taking a moment to realize shes talking to him in a tone he had not been spoken to in for a long while. Hed answer bluntly "To not be burned is a start. I never much cared for that practice, I'd much rather be buried and honored with a stone. Or perhaps a statue, maybe even a tomb."
The lady would pause for a second before responding "Well then. Seems you have as good a reason as anybody. I take it you're from the midlands then young man?"
Cedric would think for a moment, almost considering lying "Aye. That is where I am embarking from at least. I hail not from there but have spent the better part of a decade in those lands. The Valks as you call them. I lack the fondest memories of the place but it is not the worst place Ive lived. I have been moving since I was a boy. My original home was wiped by a plague when I was young, I remember not even of my surname. I have been finding it as I go since then."
The lady would wait for him to finish before prying once more "So dear boy, you may have a reason for leaving, but what is your reason for going?"
Cedric would stare out into the swamplands that are approaching, dividing the place he had been staying and the lands of bountiful potential that lay beyond in the Southern Reach. "Sick of the cold? Does that suit... I know not to be honest. Glory is the best I can say, I am a glory hunter of sorts. Ive been jousting and prize fighting since my late youth as a way to make coin around the Valkian Realm. But I believe I have outgrown that in a sense, ego or truth. Unfortunately I come not of money or blood, I have paved my path since I lost my parents and I see no better place to pave it in a land thats unpaved. Perhaps I'll find the treasure of Aedall" *he would chuckle saying the last part as a joke*
"Coin, name, and reputation are a funny thing. They hold so much power in words but they do not get you through the dark times" the lady would speak echoing in Cedric's ears. "In reality it is spirit, and a bit of luck that may"
Cedric would scoff but not in an overly overt way before stating "I can see you're a travelled woman, I may not be from these lands but Ive lived here a long while. Ive heard these tales, perhaps a 'fiery spirit' or a 'favor' may help me find my destiny. I have had to make a living in many ways, mainly by sword as I have been training my whole life with a blade. But that gives you talent in... other regards. These legends were told many times to me, especially in the urchant society I was in. Pick pocketing, stealing. I tried only from those in abundance, but I do not glorify these actions. Nonetheless the others around doing these activities told these tales many times, hoping to gain notoriety to get the directions. But that was not my fate, and not one I wanted. I have other... desires than to just be a common thief. I want to do more, do better, and perhaps even some good"
Shed listen thoughtfully and say "Well you will have time to figure that out, even I sometimes question my place, and I questioned it a lot more when I was of youth like you. You seem like you will figure it out... for better or worse. I wish you luck dear boy"
"For better... or for worse." He would respond and then drift out of focus. Dropping back into a passenger status waiting for his arrival to these new lands.

Brief Physical Description: Cedric is an averaged height fellow, with green eyes and a constant stern look. His hair flows to both sides, textured but not maintained. As if he wants to look good but does not put effort into all of it. He is relatively weathered, sporting a few scars across his body from past experiences. Hes slender but not skinny.
