(Optional) How did you hear about Avalore?: Stumbled upon it while looking for RP MC servers on Planet Minecraft. I'm new to the whole RP scene on MC but I love how indepth the Lore for this place is and wanted to check it out for myself!

I usually go by Star or Astrxm, but I like draw OCs from time to time! Hoping to take some inspiration from anything that happens here for drawing.

Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
āI can tell itās your first time. Still remember mine,ā she flashes a grin and leans in.
āTell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?ā

Snapping out of her idle reverie, Faen blinked back to reality upon hearing the old lady's question. She didn't expect the woman to want to interact with her, but she couldn't help but let out a thoughtful hum as she considered how to best answer her.
"I wouldn't describe it as nervousness," Faen answered with a quirk of her lip, shoulders rolling briefly into a non-complacent shrug.Ā
It was a simple, short answer, but an honest one. Anticipation seemed a more fitting word for what settled in her chest. The kind that came at the start of a hunt, or when bracing for an ambush back in the Ashlands. This was familial. Nostalgic for home.
Regarding the question of her visit to the Southern Reach, Faen paused, quietly ruminating on how to simplify such a story. Her particular clan hardly stepped beyond the borders of the Ashlands, keeping to the volcanic tundras, her clan often uprooting their settlements to follow the wild hordes just to survive the upcoming seasons. Back home, Faen was one of the herbalists among her particular clan, responsible for making salves and poultices for any sick or wounded kin. She was a beloved member, friend and sister who wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty, while engaging in merriment by the central fire pits.
Yet, here she was. A long way from home.
"Personal Pilgrimage you could say. The world's a big place, would be a shame not to see it all for myself."
Such was the nicer way to put it, one she wished were true, but instead of the Southern Reach, Faen would rather the Dragon's Maw. The reality of the matter was that Faen was actually lost. Stranded in a region unfamiliar to her beyond word of mouth, separated from her family. Nothing could've prepared her for the ambush that led to her predicament. Originally, while couriering trade supplies from Bastion to the clan, Faen and her small group of clanmates were ambushed en route by a small troop of ashborne bandits. Such encounters weren't uncommon, nor was it a turmoil that was exclusive to Faen's clan. Should either Greatling or Fey-Touched be shunned by the fireborne, their scorn will grow tenfold. Yet of all things, Faen never expected her captors to try to ship her off beyond the ocean's horizon.
She could only assume she was supposed to be somewhere in the Mist Isles by now; her string of bad luck seemed to continue even aboard the boat. Or perhaps it was more good luck this time, to this day she wasn't quite sure which it was. But whatever the matter, the storm capsized the ship was had been trapped aboard, and the next thing she remembered was waking up somewhere that had more greenery than... Well, anywhere else she had been. It was jarring. But more terrifying was the reality that she was lost. Far from the fireside gatherings she was accustomed to. Far from the unpredictable wilds that ingrained the habit of sleeping with one eye open.
The homesickness was inevitable, unbearable at times, but her pride as a fireborne insisted that she persevere for the time being. To adapt and manage. To hopefully find her way back home one day.

Brief Physical Description:
- Standing at 5'4"ft, Faen has a tan complexion with black scales along her neck and shoulders, with a few beneath her eyes. Her fingertips fade into a darker hue, near matching her scales.
- Hidden beneath strands of raven black hair, Faen has bright vibrant green eyes.
- Clothing wise, Faen prefers to wear loose fitting clothes that allow for easy nimble movement. Prefers wearing the colours of Red and Grey. Around her right arm and left ankle she has a gold band.
