Read the following prompt:
The sound of clinking glasses and idle chatter welcome you in as you find yourself stepping into The Full Cask. An older man with a full mustache and warm smile beckons you over to the bar he's tending. His gaze washes over you, a glint of some knowing look shining in his eyes. As you sit, his voice rumbles out:
"Hello there stranger! What can I get for you?"
After you order, he continues to make small talk. "You must be a newcomer. I'm Maarten, glad to meet you." He says with a certain kindness in his tone.
"Tell me, what brings you to the Spire?"

Your Response:
With the influx of light from a new building entered comes the subtle dilation of pupils turned to slivers. The great noise overwhelms the hulking figure who makes his way to a stool which creaks under his weight. Maarten’s first question posed goes unanswered as time passes by, uncertain if the Greatling knew it was directed towards him or he simply felt he was too slow to respond. Truthfully, it was because he had no crowns to spare the bartender.
Veshraan’s voice starts with a crackle, barely heard over the bustling life around him. “The people.” It is a soft response followed by a pause as he wrestles with finding the words.
“In the mountains to the West of here, where my home is, there are paths in the valleys which many travel. But.. that is all they do. They do not stay. Few have given me the time to learn their lives and keep their stories. I wish to gather these words to return back home. So that the names of ones telling me may not be forgotten to time and those of my tribe who can not travel can learn about the lands around us.”
The pale man glances at the surrounding people, seemingly searching for something.
“The children born this Highsun bring omen of fortune gained or lost. I wish to bring them knowledge bound in leather. Our ways of living are not like the stars, they may be lost in time if they are not written. I will bring them the tools to keep us living, even after we have no breath to spare.”
