These are rumors your characters may have heard around the Spire about the going-ons of the lands outside of the Southern Reach. Almost none of these now, or in the future, will be tied to upcoming events. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to @Moony

⌞Mistan Isles⌝

- Good news from the Isles for a change. Ports have slowly began to re-open as Queen Gwennora declares the Tideblight plague to be over. Any of those still infected remain in a quarantine under the Mistcaller's watchful eye, and the rest of the Mistans are happy to finally return to their old normal. It's said there's already been ships leaving Sirensong for other lands. Queen Gwennora, to aid rebuilding those who've lost someone, has granted a compensation of fifty crowns per deceased.  

⌞Ko'ram⌝

- This year's Hangawi, the meeting of the Great Clans on neutral ground, brings an end to the conflict now-dubbed as the Tongmo Crisis. While many were preparing for a prolonged war between the Odokhi and Adarkhin, an unexpected peace brokered by Clan Moon—itself backed by threats that the Clan would enter the conflict after several of its tradeships were seized—has restored peace for the winter.

Pressured by Clan Moon, the Adarkhin have returned the captured Odokhi Emperor in exchange for a hefty sum of coin and a continued occupation of the devastated Weizi Peninsula. As the guarantors of peace, Clan Moon have opportunistically gained toll-free trading privileges through the Sharuul strait. While the Adarkhin have shown themselves to be bold and worthy of sitting at the Hangawi with the other Great Clans by force, many Sharuulan nobles whisper of dissatisfaction with this outcome; disgruntled with a peace enforced upon them and what they view as the Great Adar's inability to capitalize on the capture of the Odokhi Emperor. How this short conflict will change the landscape of Korami politics is still unclear as the dust settles.

⌞Fallstone⌝

- The rumors spreading from Fallstone tell some odd stories. Apparently, Ser Chimeg, one of the few in Fallstone that could be considered a general in the Feyguard, was seen storming off in anger from Moss-Meet. He was noted to have been having a rather colorful discussion with Speaker Alvarez. It's atypical for the two men to be seen having a spat, and some wonder what could have caused such a display. Not long after, Ser Chimeg's Caravan, The Haggling Horde, left Stonebrook for the South.

⌞Amafells⌝

- The mad mage of the Amafells and his cult has begun to be rather problematic for the Forn confederation, leading to many opposing clans putting asside differences (temporarily) to siege the mage. Other news comes from the Nyr confederation. Apparently an infestation of boulder-backed grasshoppers have been ravaging their food storages. They've reached out to the other confederations in hopes of temporaily relief why they devise a plan to berid themselves of the pests...
