Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)?
Skadi calmly drew in a breath from her nose as she looked out of the wagon. The warmth of the southlands are nice... But not something she was used to. One might say her feathers are a little ruffled by the change in atmosphere, perhaps. Rolling her neck a little, she would begin to take out that old bow of her's, beginning to string it together once more, smiling a little as she looked down to the bow, quietly closing her eyes as she whispered a prayer to the stars - something common amongst the progressive stonerunner tribe she's grew up in.
Yet, was she still a stranger?
"Isn't the reason the same as everyone here?" The fey-touched hybrid asked, thinking to the history of her father - the fey-touched - 's side, that wandered and traded about, without a concrete place to call home... smiling a little as she continued to restring that old bow. "I've came to explore new horizons... In all the different aspects of the word. Sometimes the winds beckon one close to home... Yet other times, one finds themselves carried by them, towards calmer pastures and new places. Sometimes one finds themselves at the place called 'home', yet one does not find themselves at the concept named 'home'. And so it is that I wander, and I search for the 'home' to me." And with a tight tie of her bow, her solid sky-blue eyes gazing up from her bow, and over to the old lady. "And what of you, ma'am?"

Character Name: Skadi
Character Race: Greatling/Feytouched (M) Hybrid
Character Age: 21
Brief Physical Description: Skadi is a Greatling/Mountain Feytouched hybrid, standing at a tall 6'4 - towering most of her Feytouched kin, but somewhat shorter than the Greatlings she's grew up with. A pair of long, bluish-white horns would sprout from her head, while her pointed ears, along with her joints and forearms, would be covered with white, owl-like feathers. Her eyes would be a solid sky-blue hue, and she would usually wear a calm, yet curious expression on her face.
