— In-Character Read the following prompt:
The sound of clinking glasses and idle chatter welcome you in as you find yourself stepping into The Full Cask.An older man with a full mustache and warm smile beckons you over to the bar he's tending. His gazes washes over you, a glint of some knowing look shining in his eyes.
As you sit, his voice rumbles out: "Hello there stranger! What can I get for you?"  After you order, he continues to make small talk. "You must be a newcomer. I'm Maarten, glad to meet you." He says with a certain kindness in his tone.  "Tell me, what brings you to the Spire?"

Sil walked towards the man. He had a blindfold over his eyes yet one could feel his gaze on them though it. he had fancy silk like clothing on him. Silver hair and fine royal purple skin with 4 tails curling around eachother neatly making room for more space around him. he stayed silent, eventually getting to the bar and leaning over, tapping the counter to gain the mans sight back to him.

"well hello there! you may call me sil. Im simply traveling around is all, do not expect much from my tales or words. anything is fine for my pallet, give me your own choice of drink."

sil sighs with a grumble. his fingertips tap along the counter. 

"in all honesty, i have no clue.. im a void touched or... thats what the people around me have stated. I know not of this world other than a few whispers... some caught my eye such as the Amafells and its stonerunners..or the apparent faded steppe an d its barren lands... yet quiet tranquility being a want for some." 

The bartender could see the confusion in the voidtouched eyes. he was still trying to understand the world he was in. 

"..i arrived in this world maybe a week ago, though the spire...has drawn me towards it. The size and tales surrounding it alone is amazing. and i wish to become one with fables.. and tales of old. especially the stars." 

he smiled as he dramatically waved his hand. his other missing.

Before I give a proper response, I'd like to ask a clarifying question about the blindfold.

Is the idea that Sil can just simply see through the blindfold? Or do you have something more supernatural in mind?

hello! 

for the idea, his eyes are a bit too sensative for the light of the sky, so he wears a blindfold to dim it all. In a way, like gojo? he can take it off, but his senses somewhat overload so he wears the blindfold to soften it all. he can see things perfectly fine with it on, maybe in white outlines of some sorts? 

In general he came into the world a bit wonky as a void touched.. missing an arm and sensative eyes haha! 

Alright, cool! With that information, I can give you some feedback about your application. Unfortunately I'll need to see some changes in order for your character to fit into the world.

Regarding the lore; I am noticing a few issues with the way your have set up your character:

1. Void-Touched are born from the portal to the Void inside the crystal Spire, which has a door that is open to the public. As it stands, it sounds like your character "showed up" elsewhere, noticed the Spire, and walked into town. Which is inaccurate. They would have come from the portal inside the Spire in the middle of town, basically across the street from The Full Cask where Maarten works (all of this is visible in-game once you're whitelisted).
2. With your character showing up only a week ago and not having much knowledge about the world at all, your application does not meet the lore reference requirements. We require three references, two of which must have more details integrated with your character. Your character doesn't have to be that much older, but they have to know at least a couple of things about the world and why it matters to them/how it has impacted them. As it stands, you have only name-dropped a couple of things (Amafells, Stonerunners, Faded Steppe).

Regarding your character's appearance:

1. Generally looks good. The only issue is that it needs to be more apparent that Sil can see through the blindfold and is using it to shield his eyes. Whether you want to do that in your character's visual design or through description is up to you, but as it stands, it is a little unclear why Sil is able to see despite his eyes being covered. I just want to have that ambiguity removed.
