Raised by Wolves

Part One

(Artist Credit)

A group of hunters and their families have put together a bounty. Out in the woods, bandit poachers have started to exploit the forest's beasts. Local game populations have started to dwindle, and hunters cannot even access the forest for fear of being attacked or falling prey to a wicked trap. Not even the wolves of the woods seem to be free of their hostilities. The hunters petition anyone who can fight to come and clear them out, offering a sum of crowns for the heads of these bandit poachers. Who will take up the call?

[This event is part of a small series of events. This part contains moderate combat, so characters with some combat capability are suggested, though strong combat focus should not be necessary for everyone.]

it's me

Mmmm ten crowns... any use for a longbow? Kalibri has been witness to a plethora of banditry about the Spire's area. She's partaken a few times in tasking people to go investigate things, but she has yet to actually act upon it herself. Now might be a good chance...

Kalibri would like to come, for a thrill and to finally act herself.

Artorius offers his aid. Though not monsters themselves, the bandit poachers may prove to cause more issues than intended. Depleting the woods unnaturally may force more dangerous predators to expand their reach and hunt for other prey, thus potentially making the area more unsafe as a whole. Artorius would snip this in the bud before such could occur.

Arkus (Since Bellamy is still absorbed by the Well) is keen to throw his weight into things like these. A newcomer to the Spire which is seeking his fortune in any way he can and possibly to see how the banditry is around the town while testing his new Greatsword out. And a increase in crowns might be nice n' dandy.

Locke offers her assistance. A hunter's recruit, she could use the experience.

  • x1

Jorgen, keen to map the lands around in his head and to find sustenance for his superstitions and offerings earned in blood to that end.

  • x1

Konrad would sign up! His reasoning is simple, there to take care of wounded combatants.

  • x1

Maiwenn will join because she wants to protect nature from these violent poachers.

  • x1

Elrik will sign on if he's needed. He's shown a vested interest in keeping the local ecosystem healithy. Helping curb the wolf population in a previous event. Plus getting outside of the library and touching grass is always a good to stay alert.
