Physical Description: Alara is 5'8 with a build that could only be described as lanky. Despite her shorter stature (for an elf), her arms and legs are longer than most.
She wears round glasses that are a little too big for her face, and her eyes have a deep red hue to them. Her hair is long, brown and often tied up in a bun or a pony tail. She likes to adorn her hair with different accessories. She has relatively fair skin, with a large deep red birthmark over her left eye and freckles across her entire form. She tends to dress in more comfortable, flowy pieces of clothing, not caring for fashion or beauty as much as most.

Brief Backstory

A girl who never knew her biological parents.
Alara was found as a baby by her now adoptive father, John Mévouiret. She was left in a tree in a basket by someone, John never found out who.

John is a Mistan Human, native to the Mist Isles. He found Alara in the Reach, on one of his many painting trips of his younger years.
Alara grew up on his stories and paintings detailing the beauty of the Reach, and so upon turning 18, decided to partake in a Mistan coming of age ritual, building a boat and setting off for the Reach, to see it's beauty with her own eyes.

Personality

Alara is extremely absent minded. She gets lost in her own head often, and finds herself in difficult situations due to forgetting to respond to people. This has led to others getting upset with her from time to time, but she is not rude on purpose. Alara gets super into her paintings, taking after her adoptive father, sitting for days on end just capturing the beauty her eyes can see.

Aspirations

Alara has two goals.

One is to make a painting she is truly proud of, that she can call her magnum opus.
The other is simply to learn, she has a thirst for knowledge that cannot be satiated.
