Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"I don't really have a place to go and the Reach is as good as any other I suppose."
"Fine, I'm not much for talking and my story is nothing interesting but since you are giving me that look..."
"They found me early into Harrowing left on the street wrapped in rags. So naturally, I grew up in an orphanage. It was in some town in Rulan, don't ask where, I don't know the name and don't even want to, the place was a nightmare. Which is why I eventually ran away. Managed to find my way to the Duchy's capital where I worked for a merchant. I was to... obtain, you could say, certain items for him to sell and he would give me a place to sleep. He wasn't much of a nice person but he took care of his 'employees' and actually taught me to read and write in common. Life wasn't so bad there actually, but like all good things, it ended. This one when the guards busted him and closed his shop. Only few of us 'employees' managed to get away. We stayed together for a while but eventually went our own way. That's when I decided to travel to the Reach. You see, some time before that I had bought this thing from a Walljack." I take a seven pointed silver star with a purple stone set in the middle from my pocket and show it to her. "He told me its an ancient relic, made by the Elves long before The Collapse. And - stop laughing - I took the, now so obvious, bait. When I saw him again, he had a dozen of the same stars at the market and I realized I got fooled. He wouldn't take refunds, obviously, so I kept it, I mean it doesn't looks so bad, and few days later I decided I would travel to the Reach and look for a real Aedall relic."
