Backstory

Kyriel is an Arsa Sidhe hailing from the far west, born and raised Korami. From a very early age, he showed the capability of using a very rare and hard to control power: to be able to see into Fate, the fabric from which all actions and outcomes are born. Though difficult to fully grasp, the ability to step into the lines allowed a young Kyriel to realize his potential and claim a future few could ask for: to become the Fate Weaver of the Korami.

The moment he could grab a sword, the Arsa Sidhe started training under the tutoring of master Ryoichi, who also possesed a similar skill and taught Kyriel into the tradition of the Fate Weavers. To follow the whims of Fate, travel where the lines would take him... In the beginning, Kyriel took this tasks with diligence and pride, grasping his powers better by the day and becoming stronger and more prepared for a Destiny he still wasn't sure about. And soon enough, it was revealed to him in a vision: to travel to the Southern Reach.

This at first troubled him. He knew a travel of this magnitude, so suddenly and with no clear path to follow made his resolve shake. But being reminded of his position and his duties, Kyriel saw he didn't have a choice. With the rightful ownership of the family blade and a duty to fulfill, Kyriel left his home, following a hunch that was leading him nowhere, but also eveyrwhere at the same time. Should the lines of Fate be merciful with him... perhaps the future wouldn't be so bleak.

Kyriel has arrived to a strange land, following a hunch given to him in a strange dream. Unknown and hoping to stay on the low for a bit, he is investigating the current events in the Reach, taking an interest in the disappearance of the Aedall and the strange Spire in the land. Could these events be linked with why Fate told him to come here?
