— My name is Jay! I was looking for cool servers to join, and I figured this one looks fun! I play a lot of DnD and multiplayer games, and roleplay servers have always been a fascination of mine since I was young, so might as well try it here.

In-Character

Read the following prompt:

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

The man across from her, thin of frame and tan-skinned with long windswept black hair, simply smiles a toothy smile. "Yes, Ma'am. Nothing much of me back home 'cept for an angry few lads. I'd figure myself better off in new lands. Already, I find myself excited for the trip down south." The accent is normal for someone from the wall, most like a Walljack of some kind. "T'was a...how you say...mercantile kind of folk back home. Sold lots of things. Old Aedell artifacts of sorts, from before the disappearing. Yes, but some folk, they considered me a swindler and a liar. Me! Look't me, do I look like such a man?" Another wide, toothy grin appears across his face, almost reaching his ears. "And I've half the blood of one meself. Not the Aedell, blessed, but those Korami folk. I see an Elf artifact, it's in me blood. I know what I'm doing. So, I've come down here to make myself known. Odd thing to do, I know, but it's what I gotta do." He leans back, tapping his foot against the wagon floor. "Something down here's gotta help me, right?"

Character Name: Kennenbrud Halswier

Character Race: Half-Race (Half Human, Half Arsa Sidhe)

Character Age: 20

Brief Physical Description: Kennenbrud is a shortish wiry man, around 5'5, with thin skin and rough hands. His hair is long, shoulder length at least, and black, like the sky at night. He's got smaller eyes, and his skin is tanned brown, though he's normally brown anyways. He's got a thin patch of hair on his chin, but nothing else grown on his face or arms.
