Read the following prompt:

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.

“Nervous?”

You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.

“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.

“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

"Oh lass... I've been 'round a time or two, believe you me." The elderly Mistan man would respond, lighting up his corncob pipe with his last match. He would take a drag off his pipe before blowing out a ring and letting out a low chuckle to himself, "Why, I've sailed the coast 'slong as I could stand on me own two feet. Siren Serene as me witness, I've seen more oddities on a single voyage than the average man could see in their whole life. That'd be what brings me here to the reach, me thinks. To find more tales of wonder and whimsy."

Brief Physical Description: An elderly man with white hair and leathery skin. His years of sailing have made his body a living story, covered in scars that prove his adventures.

Hello, I'm Moony and I'll be handling your application. 

So far you're on the right track. I like the idea of you playing an older character since it's more rare that people go down that route. However, we need to work on your written portion before I can continue processing your application.

The written story is too short. It requires that you use at least 150 words as a minimum. Unfortunately you are only at 105 words. You also need another piece of lore that doesn't come from a page directly connected to the Mistan culture. Maybe speak of something from the Bestiary he might've seen while sailing, or some port he's sailed to in a foreign land. Either way, you can find such examples by looking deeper into the compendium.
