Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”

The elf did not respond at first, hoping that the lady was speaking to another passenger in the carriage. After the awkward silence hung in the air for a few moments, she noticed the woman's eyes on her and cleared her throat a little.
"There is not just one reason I am here, though I am sure that is the same as any other passing through..." She shifts her seated position to face the old woman better, wincing slightly. The wagon was not the most comfortable nor spacious mode of transport, and remaining still for such a long time had left her feeling a bit stiff. It was only marginally better than the long boat ride from the lands of the Korami to the Midlands. Weeks of staring at an endless horizon, interrupted only when passing through the Mist Isles or the occasional storm.
"I... had a small... disagreement, you might say, with my clan. It is why I left my homeland. Since then I have been wandering. Seeing the sights and meeting new people." As she continued to talk, she picked up a bit of confidence in her words.
"It turns out that I enjoy learning about the world we live in. So many stories to be heard, and many more yet to begin. And most of them never see the light of day..." She trails off, her gaze turning distant for a moment as she gathered her thoughts. "...I think I'd like to change that, at least a little. People deserve to be remembered for their deeds, not lost like the Aedall."
The awkward silence returned once she finished speaking, and her face flushed bright pink from the embarrassment of it.
"So... erm, what about everyone else? Any interesting stories to tell?"
Soon, the conversation livened up with tales and talk. From a former sailor, claiming to have stumbled across a Lucky Coin after a game of chance, to a farmer telling the tale of his second cousin's friend's neighbour's field supposedly growing a Grumpkin. She quietly listened to them all with a subtle smile on her face. Even if these stories weren't true, they were at least entertaining.

Brief Physical Description:
A slender frame with pale skin, standing at around 6ft tall. Long, dark hair often tied in a loose updo to keep it out of the way. Violet eyes that tend to stare off into nothing when deep in thought. Often wears practical garb that is easy to move in, mostly in the style of her homeland, but will sometimes wear styles that are a mix of the places she has visited. Always keeps a weapon close to hand, both as a precaution and one of the leftover habits from the teachings of her clan.
