Family History
House Crest comes from an interesting origin, branching off from the low noble house in the Valkian Empire; House Astelle. A wine and trading house that specialized in silks and fabrics. Within recent years, House Astelle had disowned Sovereign Astelle, now Sovereign Crest, as a Lady of the house for having affairs with House Servants and commoners. Rumors had circulated that Sovereign had also undermined Ducal and County Houses who intended to marry off their daughters by tainting their reputation within high society under the guise of hosting Conduces and High Fashion women only events. Sovereign was also rumored to have underhandedly befriend militant Valkian Houses to threaten other low nobility houses. 

Despite being offered by two other low noble houses within the Valkian Empire to adopt Sovereign into their house as a Lady or concubine, Sovereign would intend to move her family to the Southern Reach and to the growing city of the Spire.

House Crest does not specialize in anything in particularly however the head of house, Sovereign Crest, specializes in tailoring and high conduces fashion. Intending to make a name for the house in the City by opening a grand boutique.

Family Biology

While the family Biology is scampered because of Sovereigns many partners and wives, along with adopted children and relatives, Sovereigns Blood children have a few matching qualities. 

Women in House Crest after reaching the age of twenty are never below eight feet in height. A common trait is the Greatling cat eye iris' with copper or bronze eye color with downturned eyes. Women in House Crest have a round nose bridge with little to no exceptions. The women are encouraged to wear whatever style they may wish for however there is no exceptions to have their wear be made out of the best materials. They are encouraged to flaunt their wear off with little to no care for avoiding pride among their peers. 

Men in House Crest after reaching the age of twenty are never below seven feet in height. A common trait in men is the copper eye color with a few men having bright green instead. Men in House Crest have a rugged and angular nose and eyes. Alike the women in house Crest, the men must go out in their best clothes. Flaunting themselves off with pride. Men commonly get dehorned for aesthetic purposes.

Reign in the Heir to the Crest Family, following Sovereigns footsteps in accounting and dabbling in diplomacy.

Duchess Crest | 18 | Open | Single Female | Daughter
Duchess is the eldest daughter to the Crest Family, although having no aspirations in leading a family. Duchess spends her time as a squire knight, wishing to bring glory to her family name.

King Crest | 16 | Open | Son
King is the youngest of the claimed and non bastered children. He does have aspirations to lead the family, wanting to be a leader of his siblings. While having an undecided profession, King wishes to open Taverns along the Spire.

Monarch Crest | 14 | Open | Bastard Daughter
Monarch, in a sense, is disconnected from her family. While still being a claimed child she has no right to any future titles or assets. Monarch stands afar from her siblings, interested in the arcane and in all things dark and gloomy. She aspires to be a recognized mage within the Spire.

Family Application

Rules​
  1. Acceptance is determined based off of many factors including competency in the application process, and preceding player history. We expect maturity among every player who applies to the family. ​
  2. House Crest biology should be followed when designing a character for the family. There is little room for exceptions in that regard. 
  3. Activity is a requirement, but we are lenient in the case that real life comes in the way.​
  4. While I am not in favor of railroading roleplay in any way, some measure of loyalty and respect for the family lore is requested. If you have character developments you wish to go through with, speak with one of the current heads of the family so we can accommodate .​
  5. If you would like to be an in roleplay adopted Crest we require at least a few days of roleplaying within the family.​
  6. You must have a discord so we can communicate, especially if you are applying for a Family member.​

Family backstory?

Every Crest that has been created has their own story or their own set goals (which is completely normal) However when on trial I would recommend to read over the Valkyan Empire.
