Brought up as a dancer, the Korami woman's steps were changed by a thirst for revenge upon a man that brought her suffering for solely his own entertainment. Tempered rage and steel would remark her career as a member of the Knights Lictor of the Lampwood until the arrest of herself, Laurent and Wayman, setting the lot of them in the Spire cells for weeks as the town deliberated on what to do with them. In this time, she believes herself to have reformed; in attempt to ready herself to kill one man, she had hurt many along the way to hone her craft. Now she seeks to repay the mercies placed upon her by the people of the Spire as a member of the guard.

Even still, old habits die hard. She relapses to violence quicker than much of the guard--perhaps to keep her name out of the running for Guard-Captain.

Ayana has short hair, clearly cut in haste and kept so whenever needs be. Her skin is pale, nails and lips painted black. She seldom smiles in kindness, but often in wrath.
