Hello, I'm Zack! I'm recently 21 years old and from England, entering my final year of Computer Science at university. I've been playing Minecraft for around 12 years and in the last few years I've designed landscapes professionally for folks to explore on their Minecraft servers. I play piano, chess, and various open-world video games. I enjoy cooking and baking, especially Italian food which is why I have been learning Italian for a few months. I also love movies and enjoy writing stories and thinking about how said stories could work as a film.

The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? (150 words minimum)
I stutter as I try to formulate a response to an unexpected conversation.
I let out a light, awkward chuckle before responding "I can't say I'm very sure..."
I sat up straight and put the journal I had been idly scribbling in down before furthering with, "I think this place sort of found me... err...
I've travelled a long distance without really giving much thought to my destination".
The old woman seemed to find what I said amusing as she laughed for a good few seconds before retorting
"Reach is the funny sort of place that has plans for all who stumble upon it, whether be it by their own will or not. You're here for a reason, my dear, so!"
She paused as she reached into the worn, maroon burlap knapsack beside her, retrieving a small map and handed to me. "After our stop, you walk along
this road up this hill to this tavern where you can start by getting a nice bite to eat as from looking at you, it seems you need it" She remarked while looking at
my frame which seemed to show its many days of eating very little.
I think I managed to say thank you before the driver exclaimed "Time to get off!". I had arrived.

Brief Physical Description: A fair-skinned, blue-gray-eyed individual with slightly unkempt brown hair that reaches his shoulders. He has a 2-week thick beard out of apathy. His stature isn't one of an imposing nature, a simple 5"7 though the worn clothes and not very neat hair don't often attract much trouble.
