The bravest member of the guard is the most scared. Lonny was known for doing much of the gruntwork of the spire's guardforce, not even reaching his twentieth year before his being sought for the role. His voice was prone to cracking, and his eye holds a miserable tiredness that is earned, not borne to. Beaten down by a harsh world, he was formerly able to pick himself up each time for reasons unknown to even him. Later, his persistence was broken. The guard was detached, dour, and devoid of spirit.
Visual Description:
Lonny is beaten and broken. Stood at a lowly 5'3 with hair of messy flax, his eye is puffy but aged by experience. His standard uniform is tattered, sword and shield tarnished and chipped. The manacles see more use, charred by a life-defining incident. His arm and eye lost, his gait has adjusted to accommodate the lack of balance.
