Coming from Clan Kaarstan of the Vinfengi Fyrir, Dierdre led a rather normal childhood for a stone runner girl before her clan started to pivot to new ways during her 8th summer when the Previous Matriach, Barenziah, was replaced by the current one of clan Kaarsten: Sindt. By the time of Brunhilde’s 10th summer the Clan Kaarsten managed to have figured it's less rigid gender roles out to its new standard. During this time Brunhilde would discover her talent at masonry and prove herself capable of helping her parents, also masons, with restoring and upkeep the ruined keep of Svarog, in which the clan lived.

With an almost pure steel head and a weight of 230 pounds, this absurd beast of a hammer could only be wielded by a Greatling of considerable size and muscle. Well taken care of and well used, the hammer has freshly wrapped gray fabric on its grip, underneath and running up and down is well polished red wood which connects into small guards on either side of the grip, a pommel at the bottom, and the head.
The head of the hammer keeps a dull sheen, on the 3 sides not connecting to the pole it has a small indent where runes of [Soft Tongue] say the following “Find Strength to be Kind”
