Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? "To explore." The Mistan man stated bluntly having come from Marionsport and was still dressed in sailors garb from his coming of age journey across the sea to the reach "I want to see the Reach and beyond that. My home isles are filled with small boats and dingys. I want to make something bigger for myself, something much grander" he stated adjusting his red bandana looking around the plains his eyes setting on the horizon as the wagon jostled him around due to the bumpy, uneven road. "Im going to visit The Valkian Wall i want to see why it was built, and how it has stood for the last five centuries, chart the great coastlines and rivers, from the east to the north of the world is unexplored, anyone who could chart that would go down in history, i want to be the one to do it. i want to build my own ship and chart the very world we walk." He explained feeling the wagon shake and rattle around him, "yes ma'am, once we reach the closest town, my plan is to stock up on food, water, weapons, and set out on my grand adventure." He chuckled to himself, just imagining what hed find in this new world. Maybe he'd meet the fabled valks of the midlands and forge upwards to the great north, to set eyes upon their mines of silver and their keeps of stone and study their culture, Explore the uncharted swamps and meet the walljacks who reside there to learn their rebellious way of life. Oh the possibilities.
