Okay! I changed it. Thank you! If there is anything else I would love to hear it!

Hey! Yes I will change it. Is the name Eira alright? I edited the parts, changing Snow to Eira, and I changed the lore so that her mother would be a regular Arsa Sidhe while the character's great-grandfather (the grandfather of her mother) was part of the Aedell, is that alright? If not, I'm happy to change it! I underlined the parts related to the change of the character's lore, so that you don't need to read the entire piece again.  Thanks for reading it!

OOC Minecraft Username: LetItSnow Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes. Have you read the rules? (Link): Yes. (Optional) How did you hear about Avalore?: I was searching for a new Minecraft server to join and found this one on the site called MinecraftServers.  (Max. 1) Were you referred by someone? If so, please provide their in-game username: N/A (Optional) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): I am Lea (she/her), better known as Snow! I am twenty years old, live in western Europe and I love roleplaying and fantasy. I play Minecraft for a couple of years now. I am a decent builder and artist (but I haven’t drawn in a while so I would be struggling for the first few hours.. probably.. most likely-).  ---- In-Character Read the following prompt: The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands. “Nervous?” You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes. “I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in. “Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?” How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium.  Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?) Eira blinked a few times before her mind truly returned back from the whirlwind of her thoughts. The kind woman, who was seated in front of her, was still leaning in- waiting for her response. The question, that was still unanswered, hang in the air between them. ‘‘Oh,’’ Eira murmured shyly as she collected her thoughts. A nervous exhale left her lips as a small smile appeared. ‘Is it really that obvious that it’s my first time?’’ The older woman shook her head slightly, amusement flickering through her eyes. ‘‘Yes, it’s quite obvious.’’ Her gaze glided over Eira, not in an intrusive way- but in a more curious one. The older woman’s grin sharpened as she gestured to her newly found conversation partner. ‘‘Your posture is quite tense, you have been starring at my shoes for ten whole minutes- and trust me deary, my shoes are not that interesting to look at-, and,’’ she pointed down at Eira‘s hands, which were still playing with the, now ruined, braid. ‘‘You have been fuddling with your hair the entire time since you stepped onto this cart.’’ Eira immediately looked down at her hands. ‘‘Oh,’’ she whispered while she forced her hands to stop the abuse on that poor, tousled braid. A sigh escaped her mouth as she leaned back against the wooden railing of the old wagon. ‘‘You’ve caught me,’’ Eira confessed as her gaze returned back towards the older woman. A lazy smile tugged at the corners of Eira‘s mouth despite the nervous energy boiling inside of her. ‘‘And as for the question what brought me here..,’’ She bit her lips softly as she collected her thoughts, ‘‘well-’’ she started shyly, ‘‘I was always invested in stories- even when I was just a little child.’’ A beat, ‘‘The history and mysteries of kingdoms and lands, such as Avalore, have always intrigued me. No clue why..’’ Eira bent over, reaching for her satchel. As she was searching for that familiar notebook hidden amongst her other belongings, she continued. ‘‘Avalore has some interesting histories, especially surrounding the Arsa Sidhe.’’ Eira looked up, while her hands were still lost in the bag, searching blindly for the familiar shape of her book. As she thought back to her mothers portraits, her smile grew slightly wider, ‘‘my mother was born Arsa Sidhe herself- and my great-great-grandfather was even part of the Aedell- before they disappeared… so since my lineage is partly founded there, I am quite eager to explore more of it.’’ She finally pulled out a slightly torn notebook, covered with tea stains that smudged the bottom corners. As she fuddled with a few pages she continued in a growing enthusiastic tone. ‘‘More than 1650 years ago The Collapse happened. The reigning class, the Arsa Sidhe, were overthrown by riots led by the humans, better known as the Nua Sidhe.’’ She turned the notebook around so the woman could see. The slightly crooked picture, that was hidden amongst ink smudges and messy handwriting, depicted a burning fortress. Flames danced high into the air as ash rained down on the burning remnants of the once so mighty Citadel. ‘‘And that is not the only thing that happened around the Arsa Sidhe.’’ She murmured quickly, already flipping through more pages of her book, eyes scanning the paper while a slight crease was forming on her forehead. Then she tapped on a page, and continued with the lecture nobody asked for- but happened anyway. ‘‘Fifty years ago something strange occurred. The Aedell-,’’ she continued gleefully, ‘‘a group of Arsa Sidhe who settled in the Southern Reach suddenly disappeared.’’ She made a little poof sound- and gesture with one hand, as to mimic the mysterious disappearance of the Aedell. Then she continued in a faster pace, ‘‘nobody knows what exactly happened to them, but there are speculations that the Spire- a building that reaches into the sky- is connected to it.’’ She talked even faster now, clearly intrigued in her own interests and where this- mostly one led conversation- would lead. ‘‘But the Aedell were also known for having bizarre traditions and they kept outsiders out as much as possible- so maybe that plays a role in it as well.’’ she sighed, ’’Its such a mystery.’’ Her eyes widened a bit as she realized that she was in fact spiraling, and stating obvious facts to a woman who was already acquainted with the history of Avalore. She rubbed the back of her neck, ‘‘oh...sorry-’’ she smiled sheepishly, ‘‘I didn’t mean to spiral- sometimes my interests take over.’’ The woman shook her head lightly, a smile forming on her lips, ‘‘do not worry, dear. It’s always nice to see that outsiders and youngsters as yourself take an interest in history and cultural matters.’’ She tilted her head slightly, ‘‘so your main purpose is history research?’’ Eira closed the notebook softly, ‘‘well, not entirely,’’ a beat, ‘‘my main goal is to make a new life for myself in one of the kingdoms,’’ she briefly looked towards the landscape surrounding her. Hills of lush open grasslands filled the scenery as the wagon drove further through the rolling plains of the Southern reach. ‘‘But I must admit, I have no clue where I want to settle,’’ she exhaled softly, ‘‘my father, who was a human, never truly settled down. Always traveling, finding new places, encountering different cultures... I guess I will do the same for a while before I decide where I want to settle down.’’ She shrugged, ‘‘but at least it would be a more adventurous place in comparison with my old home.’’ A beat, then quickly, ‘‘Not that anything was wrong with my previous home. Living with my great-aunt Irma was amazing. I am lucky she took me in when my father died in a hunting party, but the village where we lived- located on some island near the Midlands, was not particularly… interesting enough, so to say.’’ A small smile was tugging at her mouth as her gaze travelled back down to her notebook, ‘‘and I am sure I can learn more about the different cultures and fables while travelling.’’ A faint spark of amusement flashed through her eyes as she clasped her hands together, ‘‘maybe I even win a gambling match someday- if Lady Luck would so please it.’’ ------ Character Name: Eira Thornwood (she/her) Character Race: half race (half human, half Arsa Sidhe).
