Their primary weapon is a meteor hammer, its twin weights forged from volcanic stone and bound to black chains that has been passed down to them from his father.  As a secondary armament, Kaelith carries a staff that has been adorned with bands of Ashland stones that have been carved with fireborne motifs. While this is a weapon, Kaelith also sees the staff as an item for his rituals and a symbol of their bond with the Fire Dragon’s spirit while also being their most valuable object as it was their father's. Their attire is composed of flowing sashes and layered cloth, dyed in ember reds and volcanic blacks, garments that grant freedom of movement while echoing fireborne tradition. Adorning their body are rings, bangles, and earrings fashioned from obsidian, copper, and volcanic glass, some of which double as charms sanctified in  rites. Woven into their garb, one may also find trophies of the hunt — teeth, scorched bone, or claws — kept as tokens of triumph and reminders of their duty in the Ashlands. Beliefs & Values Faith: Holds the Fire Dragon’s memory as sacred; shrines and pyres are central to their life often sitting up a separate fire for just the Fire Dragon even splitting up his food. Philosophy: Light and flame must be preserved; darkness is a thing to be banished. Community: Strongly values kinship — no Fireborne survives alone.   Story / Background Born in the Ashlands, Kaelith grew up within nomadic Fireborne bands who cleared new homes from beast-infested ruins. Trained from youth in both martial combat and the ritual practices of shrinekeeping to the fire dragon, balancing warrior and spiritual roles. Kaelith carries the ancestral duty of the Fireborne — to guard the world against northern horrors that few others even know exist. Trivia & Quirks Fire-Sleeper – Finds comfort only when sleeping beside flame; embers and bonfires are preferable to beds as they remind them of their childhood. Keeper of Light – Cannot abide dark rooms or spaces; always lights a candle, torch, or ember before resting. Stone Collector – Fascinated by volcanic stones, collecting unique ones and polishing them into beads or charms. Fey Tongue Habit – Sometimes slips into Fey words mid-speech, especially during moments of strong emotion or prayer. Moony: Thank you for the prompt response!  They can have colorful scales, but the cracks cannot work for our current lore. The marbled skin isn't something really feasible, as even under water fey touched their skin isn't marble based. It does state rock-like, but this is more like stones you'd find in a riverbed rather than it being specifically something like marble, or smooth granite, as examples. Even if it was marble, it'd be little spots as opposed to the entire skin. The visor would need to be a veil or mask, with pretty rocks hanging from it, as opposed to something made entirely from a glass or stone.  We'll just do the scales then to keep being Fire Fey, guessing tusk are fine for half-Greatling? Kaelith bears the hallmarks of their fireborne lineage, tanned skin with their arms and shoulders covered in coppery scales. They have solid Golden eyes framed without the traditional pupil/iris framed by a mane of dark curls that fall past their shoulders. Horns that curl back in ridged arcs, fingers that are blackened in between. Traditionall favoring garments that feature loose sashes, layered cloths and metal bands or jewelry made from rocks of their homeland.    

Moony: Hello, I'm Moony and I'm going to be going over your application today. So far you're on the right track and your lore is looking good. You're a very strong writer.  However, there's two things to go over with your skin before I can accept your application:- Marbled cracks that glow faintly on the skin is not something that is a characteristic you would see in either Greatlings or Fey-Touched. - The lazulite visor is not something you would see in a setting of this time period given that the tech-lock would prevent finding such a rare mineral and shaping it into a visor that can be seen through.  I see, then would something like scales instead of the cracks work then instead like in a certain light they look like they're glowing ember. If I were to keep the marble skin, could I do it as like a water feytouched since they have marble skinsFor the visor then since it says that the fireborne are in situated near volcanoes, would I be able to do volcanic glass that's crudely fitted as a visor. If that unable, I can just have it be a veil mask instead with just some pretty rocks hanging from it
