Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes
Have you read the rules? (Link): Yes, I don't often see servers, both RP, TTRPG or just Minecraft, or just at all that have a proper in-depth section wholly dedicated to what consent actually is and means, and at that goes in to the dangers of lying about one's age and what it means to be safe online. It's honestly refreshing, but sucks it's not talked about more often.(Optional) How did you hear about Avalore?: In a comment section through YouTube(Max. 1) Were you referred by someone? If so, please provide their in-game username:
(Optional) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): I largely make art, both in my strange unique style and some fantasy concept art like weapons and clothing. The concept art I do for another game that holds a tight knit community, but the more unique styled art I make largely for myself. I'm going to college currently studying psychology and learning ASL.

In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? (250 word minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium. Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?)Thavi turned her head back to the horizon as she thought for a moment, raising a hand to awkwardly scratch at her larger cheek as her vertical pupils were briefly hidden from view with a couple more blinks. Her generous, currently braided brown hair, cozy and fluffy like wool bounced along with the cart as she prepared a response, before finally looking back to the kind older lady."Well, quite honestly, if I may.." Her accent was surprising, and her voice was kind. It wasn't the typical voice coming from someone of her size and stature, though her skin was tanned from the amount of sun she sees and dotted with.. a couple freckles. "..I was always quite bored of the mountains, bored may be the wrong word, but.. it didn't feel as if it was a place I was destined to remain. It isn't that I did not adore my clan, the leader she- she was nice, objective, practical, honest.. but if I could be plain, during a summer night, I looked to the stars, and I didn't find myself there. I didn't find myself anywhere.. I found myself wandering. Travelling, exploring, learning.. reaching new heights and new depths, meeting new people.. much like you!"Thavi gave a proper toothy grin toward the kind old lady, lowering her hand down to one of her ram-like horns and adjusting what seemed to be a crown hanging from a handmade string, among other strange trinkets like a bell without anything within to strike the metal and a seashell.. among other oddities. While she had some, there was clearly space for more, though."Learning this language was rough though, Common.. but some kind traders found me bruised and nearly passed out from exhaustion making my way to the closest town and agreed to take me on their adventure across the lands while I was still even unable to speak to them! I was only nineteen, we had a rough time with the language barrier, though over time they taught me it, taught me what a good deal is, what a bad deal looks like, and when to run, they did a lot of running.. I think their deals were not the kindest."Thavi chuckled again, rubbing the back of her head for a moment, then brought up her left hand to rub the crown between her pointer and thumb."They were kind people, though. They got me started, they kept me safe, they taught me an entirely new language, and one of them even gave me their greatest treasures.. their.. luck, they called it. I wonder how they're doing, I hope they're fairing well.. if you see them, well, you'll know if you do. One was about five and a half foot, skin the color of a beautiful red clay, and eyes like emeralds.. no pupils but skin like stone. I was so curious but they hated talking about it, always called it a curse.. the other two were taller, one with greying red hair and a big bushy beard, while the other had scars just about everywhere and a backpack full of almost anything. I'm.. speaking in hyperbole of course."Thavi chuckled herself into a sigh, wiping a tear from her eye, adjusting her cloak over her form."Great people..."

Character Name: Thavi Snowborne
Character Race: Greatling
Character Age: 47
Brief Physical Description: Standing tall and proud at 7'9'', Thavi possesses a build born of that from someone who's travelled thousands of miles upon foot. She's slim but still toned, dotted barely with freckles, mainly across her nose and cheeks, and partly on her shoulders. Her hair is a very slightly grey brown, fluffy and cozy especially to the touch, often braided intricately. Her eyes are a darker, greyish yellow with vertical pupils, and her clothing is mainly practical with a blue shawl over her shoulders, green slightly baggy pants that've been patched up so many times with different fabric that it's barely the same pair of pants anymore. She has a set of curled ram-like horns on her head that has various odd trinkets hanging off them, and typically a smile on her face.
