Are you at least 18 years old?: Yes! I turned 19 in July.
Have you read the rules? (Link): Yes, I have thoroughly read and understood them.
(Optional) Were you referred by someone? If so, who: No.
(Optional) Introduce yourself if you’d like, as well as any creations you want to share (e.g. art, builds, skins): Hi! My name is Eden and I'm from the UK. I've been playing the game for as long as I can remember and during lockdown I started playing DND, I think it would be really cool to play on a server like this where I can combine the two and hopefully make friends!

In-Character
Read the following prompt:
The rhythmic lull of hoofbeats are a marching drum to the small group of pioneers and variety of folk you have found yourself amongst, packed into a wobbling wagon. The rolling plains of the Southern Reach and a clear sky stretch out all around you, the buzz of excited chatter a dull wash in your ears as your mind strays to your former life and what has led you here to new lands.
“Nervous?”
You blink, returning to the present moment. A kindly older woman sat near you is smiling warmly with a crinkle to her eyes.
“I can tell it’s your first time. Still remember mine,” she flashes a grin and leans in.
“Tell me my dear, why have you come to the Reach?”
How do you respond (in character)? (150 words minimum - please make sure to include at least three references to our lore in your response, with two coming from different pages in the Compendium. Two of the three selected should also be in-depth, avoid simply name-dropping lore terms. Tie the terms into your character's backstory. Why are they important to them?)
"Yeah, I've never really left the fallstone. I just always wanted something more, y'know? My parents were both farmers- my father a human and my mother was fay-touched- as you can tell." They blinked their full, deep blue eyes that were wide with awe due to the landscape. "Farming is peaceful and all my friends and neighbours were lovely. I mean, God, the festivals were beautiful, those lanterns.... but it was just so quiet. I think I need something... more."
They realised that their sleeve had rolled up after their wild gesticulating, something they always did when they got passionate about something, and quickly rolled it down, embarrassed about the small patch of blueish-green scales that briefly showed.
They looked over at the horizon, the small wagon's rough movements making their view a little shaky. Despite not being able to focus they realised that the large town they were travelling to was finally coming into view. Their mouth fell open, even from this distance they could see the colours and sheer size of the spire and the surrounding town.
"It's better than I imagined! I had only ever seen drawings and heard stories but-" They turned around to the old woman, "This is incredible!"
They could barely make a coherent sentence, they knew that after a life of small towns and endless fields they were finally where they belonged. They saw images flash through their mind of friends, adventures, and love all finally possible now they had arrived at the reach.
The wagon came to a stop, the old woman nodding a last goodbye and wandering off down the busy streets, almost immediately lost in the crowds. They hopped out of the wagon, quickly thanking the driver before running into the crowds, their soft smile wide across their face.

Character Name: Issie
Character Race: 50/50 Human and Fay-touched
Character Age: 20
Brief Physical Description: they have quite tan skin from working out in the fields but patches of bluey-green scales can sometimes be seen but they mostly try to cover them up. their face is quite androgynous but they have softer features that make their pupil-less dark blue eyes stand out. their hair grows quick, just like their mothers, but they often cut it themselves so it has ended up as a choppy, dark brown mess kind of like this:
they're quite an average height, around 5"7 (160cm I think). They wear quite a lot of layers, they're always cold and they also want to cover the spots of blueish green scales on their arms and legs. they carry quite a masculine style but occasionally wear long skirts or dresses to keep people guessing about their gender.
