What is your pitch to your patron? Why should they give you magic? (connect with what they value!): Baidu feels like Myo is the only that aligns with him. He himself is a young budding scholar who is seeking ways to help others via medicine, alchemy, and basic knowledge. He wishes to go out and explore with others, being a reliable individual who is there to aid in any endevor. He is not a warrior or fighter himself, nor is he a truly noble person like knights of the sort. But that does not mean he wishes to truly help others in his own way.He understands that having Myo as a Patron would have the expectation of Sacrifice for the greater good, and he is willing to do just that, if hesitant. Baidu isn’t one to rush into anything, it is why he has asked about the various magics, the various patrons, the ways to acquire magic and the pros and cons with each.It is why he came to this conclusion of being under Myo and choosing Ichor as his primary magic branch. He was offered Initiation three times, but felt like if he is going to do magic, he wishes to do it right and fully commit. No half assing. Once he takes this step there is only the end in sight for him. And with that comes his choice of desired magic:Ichor is the magic of the body, the ability to help keep others alive who can have the largest impacts upon this world, as well as allow him to dabble further into alchemy and grow his own plants to create and experiment.
